Tap an artwork scan to read its OBI strip, catalog code or EAN-13 barcode with on-device Vision recognition — drtagger looks the exact pressing up on Discogs in one tap. SAFE BY DESIGN Every apply writes a timestamped JSON backup of the original tags to the album folder before anything is rewritten. A built-in restore flow rolls any album back to a previous backup. Writes are atomic (.tmp + MOVE on the server), so a crash mid-save can never leave a half-written file. COVER ART When the candidate brings a canonical front cover (Cover Art Archive or Discogs primary), drtagger fetches the high-resolution image and replaces your local cover.jpg, backing up the original first.
