Great Acoustic Drums
Love the sound of these acoustic kits! I use them with Cubasis, with one midi track sending data to Drum Session, and a second audio track receiving the Inter-App Audio. I wish there was slightly less reverb on the kits, but otherwise they’re fantastic!

It sounds pretty good but…
Despite it sounds pretty good but I’d like to edit the samples, it would be so powerful, and more important… Please add the AUv.
Overdone reverb effects are not optional
I just bought this, and realize the thick reverb on every drum kit is baked in. The sound is artificial an awful. I wish I had known.

The quality here is excellent, and the app is easy to use. But the devs have now abandoned the app and will not even be updating for new hardware.

Good but…
It seems pretty usable and it’s clear a lot of work has gone into it, but virtually every drum sound is reverbed (if there’s a way to turn it off I haven’t found it and, going by the chatter online, neither has anyone else). That alone means I never use it. I’ve deleted it off my iPad.
Still my Top Favorite! Would really love Real-time Multi Out
It still is my top favorite app and if it had real time multi out it would be the ultimate! This way you can have it send out each audio stem in real time to each track in Cubasis. I’m using it with Alesis Nitro Mesh drumkit to trigger the kits on the iPad and it works! Love it!

Really?
This app shuts down the entire audio and midi system when you use prearranged loops and try to record in AUM. You just put out an update. You can’t tell me the developer doesn’t know these issues. You going to fix it? Or can I have my money back.
FINALLY!!!! A Beatmaking App I Can Use!!
Hands down the best beat making app I have ever used. Other than the ease and use of GarageBand loops, Drum Session app is the easiest to use and have the best sounding drums I’ve ever heard! Now with GarageBand as my DAW and Drum Session for the drums, I am finally ready to record by songs. THANK YOU SO MUCH DRUM SESSION.

I have used this app for years and absolutely love it! Haven’t had any issues until very recently. Fortunately the latest update has fixed that again. Thanks to great and quick developer support! 🙏
Loving the variety of metal drumpatterns, great sounding drumkits, and ability to insert tempo changes, edit or customize patterns, cloud sharing... Some amazing stuff that i miss from a lot of other drumapps that i own. This is by far my favorite!

Not for the recording drummer
I connected by Roland TD-25. Couldn’t get my hi Tom to quit being a crash cymbal. Use this as a drum machine/looper. Do NOT use to record actual drumming.

Not a good sign
Sounds good, workflow is not bad, still need to work some things out. Complete crash and all work lost within first run of 5 minutes on my iPad 7th Gen.
After further use this app has revealed itself to be a buggy piece of garbage. Between crashes losing work and the glitchy edit screen getting stuck half off the page this app is just a waste of time.

Great app, great support
I had some trouble assigning the midi sounds to my drumkit pads and contacted the support. Not one hour later I had my problem solved thanks to the attention I got. Great support. The app is excellent , great sounds and works well. Definitely recommend it.
