(Update: great app, great support.)Want to turn off random switches from hi hat to ride in song mode

Update: support got back to me very quickly to share a work around! Keep intensity at 50% and it won’t switch to ride.

On iPhone, I create a new pattern. I assign it hi hats. I build a song in song mode. In black back, with no rhyme or reason, it randomly switches some of the hi hat parts to ride.

Without this difficult to solve quirk, this app would be nearly perfect.

Response from developer

Thank you for the update and the kind words! We're glad the workaround helps. We've shared the hi-hat to ride switching in Song Mode with our developer so we can look at a proper option for it.

Love it!

I have just started learning, but I like it so far!!!

Not working (update - figured it out my bad)

——-Was working fine
Now it won’t work in AUM or GarageBand
As soon as another app is open with sound
It completely cuts the audio from this app
I’m also very sad we haven’t gotten an auv3 update but yet brush drummer and pop drummer get one
Kinda upset right now——

- Update ! -

FIGURED IT OUT
Ensure the sample rates and bit depth are set right and that you launch the actual app before opening it in AUM!
Simple fix
Also can’t wait for AUV3!!!!

Quick and Easy

It’s very quick and easy to get some good drum grooves going. I enjoy using it like metronome for a practice tool. I also use the app to quickly create and export grooves to use on demos. I do wish the drum fills were a little better. Many of them sound like a random sequence of hits that a human drummer would never perform.
