Super Metronome is designed as a dedicated tempo practice tool, with features like Progressive Tempo and Beat Hider, so it lives outside the DAW plugin workflow by design. For full AUv3 integration in your DAW or looper, Pop Drummer is the right choice: it loads as an AUv3 plugin with state saving, multiple instances, and a complete drum machine feature set built for production environments. Hi apps-alot, Thank you for using Supermetronome! This can happen when the app runs in the background for an extended period, iOS suspends the audio engine to save battery. The quickest fix is to fully close the app by swiping it away from the app switcher, then reopen it. The sound should come back right away. We appreciate your feedback on a Restore Defaults button, it's a great idea and we've noted it for a future update. Thank you for your review.

Hi Julia, Thank you for the detailed feedback, this is genuinely helpful for us. You're right that IAA-based apps can lose their audio context when another app like X AIR takes over the audio session. A quick workaround worth trying: open the app in standalone mode first, then launch X AIR. Initializing the audio engine before any other app competes for it tends to prevent the conflict. For phone call interruptions, iOS forces an audio session reset that IAA apps can't always recover from gracefully, we're aware of this and working on improving resilience in future updates.
