More options

In the “full kit” tuner there should be more options for how to set up a kit. For example I play with a 16” floor Tom with a reso head and a 16” floor Tom without a reso head and there’s no option for me to calculate both of those drums together. Maybe it’s just me outing myself as a tuning noob but it is a challenge that would improve ease of use.

Lied on website

I need to tune my snare and I went to look for a free tuner online and saw this apps website. It said that it would help me tune it and got the app to actually tune it because idk what I’m doing. Lo and behold you need a device. I hate apps like these

Good tool, but needs work?

I’m a musician who likes to play all of the material for my originals, including drums. I just got the tune-bot and I think it’s a very handy tool, but it’s confusing that the settings in the app are different than what you get in the documentation. I think there’s a real disconnect that they don’t sync up. For example, the recommendation in the documentation for the bass drum is way off from what is shown in the app. Same thing with the snare. So, as a novice drummer, who needs help in getting the tuning right, which one do I choose? App or documentation?

Out of date

Many of the features point to dead links on the web site. The calculator isn’t as accurate as the documentation on the tube bot website

Saved Tunings

Great application to get to a starting point. My one criticism is you cannot give more meaningful names to saved tunings. Only set 1, set 2 etc…

FAQ

What does the Drum Tuning Calculator app do?

This app helps you determine the ideal notes and frequencies for tuning your drums to achieve your desired sound. It provides recommended settings based on musical intervals and your personal preferences, eliminating guesswork in the tuning process.

What are the key features of the Drum Tuning Calculator?

Key features include a drum-set calculator, individual calculators for snare drums, bass drums, and single toms. It also allows you to store and recall multiple drum-set tunings, access pro tunings from artists, and utilize a tuning guide and videos.

The app is intended for drummers who want to achieve professional-sounding drum tones. It's for musicians who want to precisely tune their drums to specific notes and frequencies, and who may want to replicate consistent sounds.

How can I use this app to tune my drums?

Use the app to calculate the recommended notes and frequencies for your drum set based on your preferences. Once you have these recommendations, you would then use a compatible drum tuner device to tune each drum to those exact settings.
