Great "Touch" Drums, Not Good for "Live"

This is a really well implemented and thought-out drum app, and it has lots of features most other drum apps don't have, including full MIDI implementation. So 5 stars for all of that.

But, even thought the latency is shaved down as much as possible, don't expect to use it for live MIDI-trigger-based drumming. The iDevices are simply not fast enough for that; latency will be long enough that it interferes with laying down a solid beat.

So, if you want to play touch-based "finger" drums, I would say go for it!! If you want to use your iThing as a drum sound module for MIDI drumming, forget about it!!
