Drum live review

I gave it 4 out of 5. One thing missing from the jazz kit are the brushes. It would be nice to have this addition in a future update. I recommend this app over jazz drummer , rock drums . It’s so organic to manually create your own stuff. This app does it and then some.

Good for my needs

I use this app in conjunction with Freedrum, a Bluetooth wireless drum set. Sounds good through my Powerwerks PW50 pa. I like that you can configure the drum locations wherever you like and can adjust individual volumes. Also nice is it can sense velocity differences so it can be played with some finesse.

It Is Solid

I'm having more success right now capturing and sequencing Drums Live than the other drum apps that I own. It syncs up perfectly with my recording apps. No problems. Samples are of excellent quality. Easy to figure out and Play.

Fantastic Sounds Easy Midi Setup

I use this app with an iRig Pads midi controller. Super responsive and easy to set up. Each drum/cymbal can "learn" which midi note you want to use to trigger it. I use it at live gigs with AudioBus and LoopyHD. Super stable and never an issue. Would love a few more drum kits added but the kits available sound excellent!

It is a great app with a lot of potential. It would be good to have an option to customize drum positions.
