Dr.Zisman Endocrinology

Dr. Zisman earned his medical degree with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, graduating in 1993 at the top of his class. He completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas (1994-1997), where he was recipient of the prestigious John S. Miller Award for outstanding performance, followed by a clinical and research fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Harvard Medical School, based at the Joslin Diabetes Center, the Beth Israel/Deaconess Medical Center and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1997 to 2000. He joined the University of Miami as full-time faculty in 2000, and opened The Endocrine Center of Aventura in 2007.
