Must have for thos who miss DS Git

Does everything I wanted it to. Developer very helpful also. Well worth the money. Only 4 stars because it does not support family share so the wife needs to buy it as well if she wants to use it.

Thank you for the review! Sadly I cannot control Apple and how they make Family Share work. They only support that for subscription based purchases I believe. If there was a way for me to enable this, I would.

App not working

I am not able to log into my NAS. I put in the same credentials as I use for all other DS apps.

The only app I’ve ever paid for!

With the demise of DS Get I was having to login remotely to my NAS and add tasks direct into Download Station, a real pain.
DS Download Manager is the perfect solution and how Synology should have implemented it in the first place. Well worth the one time purchase fee.

Stuck on calculating. Never downloads

It connects too my NAS. I can choose the destination folder... Then or stays on waiting. Calculating.

Hi FlowingColor, if your task is stuck on "waiting" or "calculating", it would mean the URL used while downloading is not having enough peers to connect to. Please contact me if you have any other issues on dsdownload@appsley.nl. Giving a one star review without contacting me or giving me the chance to help you, is not really nice.

It was working ….

I had no issues with the app and found it really great to use . But now when I search … nothing.
No results. . . Is this an app issue or a DS issue ?

Thank you for your review. When adding a task you should be able to change the destination folder. If that doesn’t succeed, let me know at dsdownload@appsley.nl Edit: This feature has now been added. Let me know how that goes!

Auto log out

The app continuously logs off there should have a feature to remember my device. Especially for OPT login.

Does what it says on the tin.

When all you need is an app to download files to your synology NAS, then this is just perfect. No fancy options or complicated set up. I took a risk on this app as there were no reviews but happy I did.
It is very basic but for some people, that’s all you need. However, it doesn’t even have a help option so got a little stuck at the beginning when trying to log in initially. Hopefully over time, more options will be added - notification when download is completed, automatic app open when selecting magnet download link, clear completed tasks button.
However, overall a good app. Would recommend.

Hi Bazzer man, I wanted to let you know that most things you have mentioned has all been taken care off. Sadly things like notifications can be implemented but won’t be very accurate due to how iOS works. Let me know if you have any questions!
