Notifications don’t even work anymore. Profile boosters y’all had me fill them all out and I still get applications that don’t apply to me. Either use the information and give me only relevant applications, or don’t asked me to fill them out if you’re not going to use the information. I waste a lot of time filling out applications that don’t apply to me when you have the data to know that. For example, in my profile boosters I say I only have an Apple Watch, yet I just did an application where when I selected I own an Apple Watch it said I was not a good fit because I didn’t have a different smartwatch. Well… you already knew I only had an Apple Watch. I told you that. So why waste my time showing me an application that requires me to have a non-Apple-Watch smartwatch… stop wasting our time. USE the profile boosters or don’t waste our time with them. Quality has gone down hill. The question “when was the last time you did market research” why are we being asked that? You have the literal data to answer that!!!! Gosh, use the data you have to save us time!! Just got kicked for doing a survey in the last six months, why was I even offered that one?! You have the data to know I did a survey so don’t offer me that app!! Use the data you have to give us meaningful opportunities. This app has gotten sloppy recently. Just got kicked out for having an iPhone, YOU KNOW THAT ALREADY!!! Use the profile boosters to give us relevant applications. Quality of this app has gone downhill fast. Still no dark mode… notifications still don’t work. Can no longer ask questions in missions or view details before accepting. Express mission crashed & wasn’t paid. Some applications no longer show a reward. App continues to go downhill fast. Can tell they’re cutting quality. Dark mode. Let me dismiss this new invasive browser plugin pop up. It’s in the way. Let me x it out. Out of the country it never lets me get passed the first question. What a waste! Just give me a pop up that says we do not accept applications while traveling internationally. Or, you know, start fixing any number of bugs in this app. Can’t see what the mission is before agreeing to it. Just bam you open the app and you’re in it. Bad UX. The app takes up gigabytes of space! Why? There are literally EIGHT of the same mission listed in the applications! Fix something on this app! dscout is the best
I’ve been using this app since June 2025 and it has worked wonders for me with accessibility. I’ve enjoyed sharing my feedback with different apps and how I use them in my daily life. I hope this app reaches many other people with visual impairment as well because if anyone is looking to find any good companies to collaborate with, this is good not only for side, but for the blind as well, and the experience is not only enjoyable, but you’re making great payments as well by giving your all and that’s all that matters. Do the best you can with this app and you will not be disappointed.

Not as good as it used to be
Support has went from exceptional to barely adequate. They use copy and paste generic answers for everything instead of actually bothering to look into your specific issue.
I still like the platform but miss the good old days when support would actually take the initiative to solve problems.
I still give three stars because it’s a solid way to earn money. However if there is a problem receiving said money, it takes some pushing to actual have anyone look into anything.

INCREDIBLE!
Since beginning to use this app last October I have earned over $1000 from missions there in mind all of these require video responses. Well at least most of them do but it’s totally Worth it. Make sure to do all the applications. You never know what you’ll qualify for highly recommend can’t say enough things.

Waste of time
Don’t bother unless you’re the most interesting person in the world apparently. Every single time I apply for a mission I don’t qualify. Maybe I’m the problem but after so many rejections, I think this app is just collecting data on us without actually providing anything

This app is seriously one of the best survey apps I’ve ever seen. I’ve made $200 in a month just doing simple tasks! I love it so much!!!!!!

SUPPORT NOT REPLYING
Dscout has been wonderful to me i really enjoy all the diary studies , its a very good way of making money as a side hustle but support fell unresponsive some times i wanted help with support change nobody is assisting me with that Can some one help me out with that?

*Update* Im still making money on this app pretty regularly, but you get to disqualified way too easy and from way too many missions of every kind express regular anything. On top of that the payout system has gotten horrible. You sometimes have to wait two or three weeks to get paid. They say 10 business days, so remember the weekends don’t count. If you’re lucky enough to get accepted for an express mission then you’re Guaranteed to to get paid in eight days. But good luck because if you answered literally one single question wrong and it could be an accident even, you immediately get disqualified from the Study ,you have no chance to go back and correct your answer that’s it. It’s over it disappears and you don’t get another chance. Also, some of the researchers if you finish a study, take their time before they process your payment so it’s not only dscout. It’s the researchers. Two studies lately both about 3 to 5 days ago and the researcher has not processed the payment yet telling me they are still. Doing the study with other people and when it closes or when they finish reviewing All the different peoples submissions then they will process the payment. So that is the payment process even longer as if these guy wasn’t long enough they stretch it out even longer. i’m grateful for this that even to this day for everything I’ve been able to experience ,the money I’ve made, the people I’ve met, but they really need to make some improvements. I really hope they listen to my ideas and recommendations. It’s just an honest dscout user of over one year who’s made over $3000. It’s been a couple of times where my express mission was denied for absolutely no reason and was never given an that is rare to happen. And remember the express missions don’t pay as much but I still do there’s something but they’re just hard to get accepted to as the regular studies. You literally have to apply to every single one. And you have to do very good on your interview. Speak very well dressed nicely. It’s like an actual interview for a job to get accepted for one of these missions. Cause this is the best advice I can give you, coming from a very experienced scout (dscout user).

**Original review still relevant; 05/02/26 Update** What Once Was Good
**Update 05/02/26: I was just scammed out of an express mission called “what do you do for fun?” I completed the questionnaire on the app to see if I would qualify, and I did. I was sent the “magic link” to do the mission on my computer, and the second I clicked the link, I was booted from the mission and it was closed. I did nothing to warrant this: I clicked the appropriate link, and was kicked out. Definitely a first for me, as I didn’t know this could happen either. I’ve already aired my grievances about how much this app has gone down hill, but I would argue it’s been even worse with these express missions. They data farm more than applications for regular missions, and quite frankly, the researchers behind them should be ashamed of themselves for making such egregious requirements to where hardly anyone can land them. It’s ridiculous, and my problem today further soured my opinion on this app.

Be warned!
In my experience with the larger payout studies, the facilitators can at times try to move unscrupulously. I credit such to the fact that they would rather not pay the users respectfully for their time and service, however; multilaterally that is disrespectful to the dscout brand. I’m going to assume dscout may or may not have control over this, but this is a warning to anyone who seeks to work as a participant for dscout.

It feels a bit of a waste of time and probably needs to be more lenient?

I've stumbled upon this app from tiktok for someone unemployed and needing to find a bit of a side hustle to at least some money.
Most of the applications I rarely even get past 2-3 questions because I don't 'fit' within the qualifications for it.
Maybe it's silly but most of the applications are for people who are either workers, parents, etc. Even basic ones I don't even get in. Maybe I need more time to really try it out but I feel like it's a bit of a waste of time.
