Endless bugs. No fixes.
Notifications don’t even work anymore. Profile boosters y’all had me fill them all out and I still get applications that don’t apply to me. Either use the information and give me only relevant applications, or don’t asked me to fill them out if you’re not going to use the information. I waste a lot of time filling out applications that don’t apply to me when you have the data to know that. For example, in my profile boosters I say I only have an Apple Watch, yet I just did an application where when I selected I own an Apple Watch it said I was not a good fit because I didn’t have a different smartwatch. Well… you already knew I only had an Apple Watch. I told you that. So why waste my time showing me an application that requires me to have a non-Apple-Watch smartwatch… stop wasting our time. USE the profile boosters or don’t waste our time with them. Quality has gone down hill. The question “when was the last time you did market research” why are we being asked that? You have the literal data to answer that!!!! Gosh, use the data you have to save us time!! Just got kicked for doing a survey in the last six months, why was I even offered that one?! You have the data to know I did a survey so don’t offer me that app!! Use the data you have to give us meaningful opportunities. This app has gotten sloppy recently. Just got kicked out for having an iPhone, YOU KNOW THAT ALREADY!!! Use the profile boosters to give us relevant applications. Quality of this app has gone downhill fast. Still no dark mode… notifications still don’t work. Can no longer ask questions in missions or view details before accepting. Express mission crashed & wasn’t paid. Some applications no longer show a reward. App continues to go downhill fast. Can tell they’re cutting quality. Dark mode. Let me dismiss this new invasive browser plugin pop up. It’s in the way. Let me x it out. Out of the country it never lets me get passed the first question. What a waste! Just give me a pop up that says we do not accept applications while traveling internationally. Or, you know, start fixing any number of bugs in this app. Can’t see what the mission is before agreeing to it. Just bam you open the app and you’re in it. Bad UX. The app takes up gigabytes of space! Why? There are literally EIGHT of the same mission listed in the applications! Fix something on this app! App continues to degrade as they fail to fix anything week after week. Applications are SO sloppy recently. It’ll say “select all that apply” and you can only pick one. Express missions are not clear and no notifications of a soon-to-close mission. This app is unusable. If you click into information the back button doesn’t work. It’s comical how bad this thing is. FIX IT. XT Matched slop everywhere in the app. Let me opt-out and hide that slop. Messes up the feed and makes the feed cluttered. “When is the last time you participated in research” <- why would you EVER ask that if you kick me out if it’s less than three months, your system should know that answer!! It’s like this app is so hacked together it’s insane. How have they not improved the application process in years!? If I give one answer, how does it not apply to all open applications. “I own an iPhone” should close any open applications that require an android. Allow me to left to dismiss opportunities that are not interesting, why make us click into them every single time? Allow me to filter away low-dollar opportunities. There are endless ways to make this process more efficient. They just never improve anything…

Glitchy
Several applications are glitchy and doesn’t accept copy and paste when directed to do so. Waste of time.
Awful
Deleting an account is such a hassle—you have to waste time contacting support and clicking on a link that doesn’t even work. Why do they have to make it so complicated?
So far it’s giving scam vibes
Not only did I not receive my payment well after the 10 day period, but it’s impossible to get anyone to assist with anything!
Difficulty signing up
I am having difficulty signing up as a new user. After filling my details, It kept taking me back to the sign up page after clicking create account. What’s wrong
Shady App, Illegal Practices
I set up an account, went through all of the prerequisites to using it including inputting all my information, just to be denied by labeled as disqualified after answering a single question on nearly every survey I applied to. Despite maintaining relevancy to the particular studies, you will be kicked out almost instantly for the most confusing and irrelevant reasons possible. That’s not the worst part of this app I found, however, despite it being extremely annoying and counterintuitive,
The worst part is that you have zero way, at least easy or apparent enough, to delete your account, clear your data, or contact support.
You go to settings, and click the “Delete Account” button, just to be told you have to CONTACT THEM to delete your account. You click on the button they give you, and it does nothing. You hold on it and copy the link, and it sends you to their general massive directory of frequently asked questions, not addressing account deletion at all, ever.
Want to email them normally? Great, go back, hit “contact us” and it leads you to a dead link. They’re holding your information hostage or making you go through a million hoops to clear it. Blatantly illegal and by all means shady. Use another app.

Legit but sometimes stressful
I’ve been using dscout for about two months now and i’ve made $260 in that time, I love that you get paid directly through paypal for each project and there is no bs withdraw minimum. With that being said, I have been told i’m not the type of candidate they are looking for so many times and it can be frustrating. Just keep trying and you’ll get some projects and your payout.

Don’t support users
So disappointed! At first this app and the studies worked well. But then twice it froze up on me. The first time they said I was out of luck and to show proof next time. So the second time (different study) I took a video of it not working and submitted it. They told me there was nothing they could do. I followed up twice with a follow up question and I got no courtesy of a response. If the technology is not reliable, don’t waste your time.

Not what it seems
This app is not what it seems to be. I only apply to studies that interest me and that I think I will qualify for and I will answer one question and then it will tell me I’m not qualified. How do you determine I’m not qualified for study, just by answering one question in the application? That doesn’t seem very fair to me. I have tried applying to multiple studies within a week. To see if I qualify and it all keeps telling me the same information just after answering one or two questions I never qualify, which is very weird.

Love this app
So I’ve used this app on and off since 2023. It is a legit platform, it pays directly to PayPal and there’s no ads what so ever. I’ve made a little over 300$ in a month but I haven’t been uber motivated, the payouts are 7-8 days after u finish a mission. Each mission can pay from 3$ to 300$ and I have NEVER had an issue with the payouts!!!

dscout is the best
I’ve been using this app since June 2025 and it has worked wonders for me with accessibility. I’ve enjoyed sharing my feedback with different apps and how I use them in my daily life. I hope this app reaches many other people with visual impairment as well because if anyone is looking to find any good companies to collaborate with, this is good not only for side, but for the blind as well, and the experience is not only enjoyable, but you’re making great payments as well by giving your all and that’s all that matters. Do the best you can with this app and you will not be disappointed.

Not as good as it used to be
Support has went from exceptional to barely adequate. They use copy and paste generic answers for everything instead of actually bothering to look into your specific issue.
I still like the platform but miss the good old days when support would actually take the initiative to solve problems.
I still give three stars because it’s a solid way to earn money. However if there is a problem receiving said money, it takes some pushing to actual have anyone look into anything.

INCREDIBLE!
Since beginning to use this app last October I have earned over $1000 from missions there in mind all of these require video responses. Well at least most of them do but it’s totally Worth it. Make sure to do all the applications. You never know what you’ll qualify for highly recommend can’t say enough things.

Waste of time
Don’t bother unless you’re the most interesting person in the world apparently. Every single time I apply for a mission I don’t qualify. Maybe I’m the problem but after so many rejections, I think this app is just collecting data on us without actually providing anything
