Lacking sufficient information

For the price of this app I would like to have the full DSM. Parts of the DSM are missing meaning I still have to refer to the book, which makes this somewhat pointless.

Worth the purchase

Such a helpful tool, and love that there’s a desktop app as well. The decision tree is such a great feature, though I wish navigating to it was a bit cleaner. Either way, a perfect resource for any mental health care provider.

I’m currently in my PsyD program and I’ve been using this app as a study tool and resource for helping with differential diagnoses. I used to go through the DSM and go through all of the differentials for disorders I consider, but this has saved me a lot of time. And TIME is something a grad student always needs more of!

Waste of money

Does not give you diagnostic criteria, only differential dx and includes so many spelling errors. Wish I didn’t purchase this. Its useless.

Misleading at best. Scam at its worst.

Do not buy this app. It’s very clearly a misguided scam compared to the actual dsm app. The decision trees make no sense. Complete waste of money and I absolutely regret purchasing this. -US Psychiatry resident.

Purchase the actual dsm book or app.

I really suspect a majority of these reviews are fake.

Good App for Therapists, needs updated UI

The app is great and allows me to stop using the book and carrying it around all the time. However, the UI is just very outdated looking. Would love to have dark mode added also.

Not as expected

The app functions well but not rich in content. I was expecting to see DSM 5 criteria for the illnesses mentioned in the differential diagnosis. I have not gone through all the differential diagnoses yet; in the differential diagnosis of hallucinations, borderline personality disorder is not mentioned. The app would have been good if the price was less than half of the current one

Highly inaccurate

Overview of app.

Quickly diagnose you with borderline personality disorder for something as little as picking at your skin.

Please give me my money back

This was not the DSM-5 eBook. I have the text I bought for the same price. I expected for 69.99 I would have access to the textbook. The diagnosis tree is not comprehensive enough and too simple with 3-4 questions. Very disappointed. Please give me my money back. Thank you. No stars.

Quick look ups

I love pulling out this app during sessions with clients and just reviewing briefly if they wanna know something about theirs or another diagnosis. It helps me answer their questions knowing I have the word right in front of me! good quick go-to if you also just need to look up the billing code & review any dsm 5 criteria.
