Love the browser
I love this browser, no Ai unless I want it. Tells me all the trackers that are blocked. Makes me feel safer.

The setup process is painful! Hints and tips while you’re trying to just get on with browsing! Extremely annoying as a first experience

I feel like the search engine needs a little more references to help ppl with seems…limited also I still have yet to find my search history maybe it’s just me?… there should be a tutorial for that. I LOVE how you “add block” I love how you protect are information I LOVE how you cut the adds off on YouTube THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THAT! Also continue to not censor things when I looked up certain topics on your search engine things that would never be allowed on Google popped up as a credible source of information on your site your on the right path 👍

Imported favorites don’t show on homepage
This was my favorite browser until I got my new iPad. Now I’ve lost all of my bookmarks & Favorites. I tried importing them from Safari but they don’t show up on the Home Page when I open it so what’s the point?? I’m just going to delete the app & use Safari. It’s a shame because this WAS a great browser.

Been using DDG for 13 years
I still use DDG search, but have removed their browsers from macOS and rarely use it on iOS. There are just too many annoying features and it's clearly less equipped at stopping fingerprinting and other tactics used by the data hogs. The experience is not as good as Safari as well. Duck.ai is good but with Apple AI chat coming, is less needed.

Good app but…
Finally, an app that protects you. I hate Google, this is better. I like DuckDuckGo. You should add video generation, where you can AI-generate a video or let the AI edit your video. That would be cool. And the AI knows how to spell when generating images. Usually, most AIs actually don’t know how to spell when generating images. Like, they be either writing random letters or writing letters that don’t exist.

What’s changed?
I used to love DDG as an alternative to Google. Used it for years with great satisfaction. Lately it is clunky and infuriating. You’re in a constant loop of death if you dare to click a link that turns out to be not what you’re looking for. Might as well close the app entirely rather than try to go back to your search results. They’ve ruined a great thing. Dare I say I’m considering a return to the dark side?

It’s really gotten buggy
The past few weeks has been terrible. DDG will crash and hang at least 10x a day. I also heard they are not as private as they use to be.. it’s time to just stick with safari; it doesn’t crash and I trust Apple more than DDG now.
