Built like and rugged as chrome, but made for today's internet. Unfortunately a subscription is required to utilize the VPN, but a small price to pay for discretion...
Voice to text doesn’t work, except on googles homepage. WTF
Using on an Ipad. Voice to text does not work in the searchbar or anywhere else ever. Except if google’s homepage is open. Only google’s homepage search works with voice. Why does google seemingly have more control over this app than duckduckgo on this apple ipad. This has been going on for awhile and now I’m switching to brave.
A and every time I search for something on DuckDuckGo they start selling it to me on Instagram. So you are selling out people's data this web browser is a lie.

What Happened?
I just did an update to the new version on iPad OS and it is acting so slow and weird. The new YouTube layout is straight out of my nightmares with video thumbnails that take up the entire screen and it’s so very bad. Please fix this ASAP or I’m moving to a different browser.

Weird design choice
Duck player is nonexistent in this browser. However when using duckduckgo in another browser it exists. Unorthodox design choice but okay.
Used to be good…
This app used to block ads and not allow popups. Now it allows both (I didn’t change any settings) plus certain pages still ask you to turn off blocker. Also duck duck go search is terrible! I navigate to google.com if I want good search results. I just deleted this app and got brave browser , which seems to be better and do the things duck duck go can’t or won’t do now .

Love this browser. It’s exactly what you want a privacy browser to be. Only complaints are its incessant need to be updated (multiple times a month) and it has zero extensions. Otherwise it’s a great product.

This is by far the best browser for free. Ad blocking is unmatched, toggle ai features on or off, and no tracking? Soooo glad I’m not using google. Please make a duck calendar and mailbox and then I’ll be extra happy. Shoutout to the devs and ppl behind DDG ❤️
