Document Functions
Overall, I really love Vivaldi. I switched in December and it has been so refreshing to use a browser I know is AI-free and convenient to use. My only large complaint, is that pdf and similar style files are practically impossible to read through the browser. It will automatically push you down to the bottom of the document (for shorter docs) or 4-5 pages down (for larger docs) and will not let you scroll up.

I was so annoyed that everytime I search something I get an AI answer and social media posts, Vivaldi is like searching the web in 2018 and I love it
Version 8 caused the most grief ever
Used this since v1 for many years. v8 arrives and wipes all my bookmarks and settings, on three Windows computers, all synced. Since then the browser opens and just hangs for upto 2 minutes before opening the tab. Every tab then opened displays a warning that the URL is wrong, then loads it correctly a few seconds later, 30 seconds before I had to uni-stall it and do a cold install and import data from Firefox which is now the default browser as vivaldi just cannot be trusted to work efficiently anymore. Hours of work troubleshooting this to no avail and re-stalling the start page widgets so many times. Sad, sad sad .
