Best iPhone Browser
After migrating to Apple from Android recently, my biggest pain point has been finding a browser with proper ad blocking, and video/audio background playback. Vivaldi is the only browser with proper fully functioning background playback and Picture in Picture play. The closest to Vivaldi is Brave, but you have to use Brave’s music feature for proper background playback and Picture in Picture. Vivaldi’s ad blocking is just as effective as Brave as well from my testing. Make this your default browser. You’ll thank me later.

Best Browser
It’s fast. It’s easy to use. It’s private. No annoying ads. It’s not invasive. I love its workspaces. Everything about it so far has been excellent. I’ve used it for approximately 1.5 months.
Finally, a killer browser
This changes the game. Vivaldi has all the things I wished a browser had, plus more that I haven’t even tried yet. Love it.

Initial impressions are positive. I like how customizable it is, ease of setting up workspaces for different profiles, how it integrates Proton VPN, and so far no sites have rejected it like they sometimes do when you are not using Chrome or Safari.

No AI
I had been on the search for a browser that had no AI at all implemented. This was triggered from Google’s choice to fully implement AI into their browser. I’d had enough at that point and decided to go on an AI cleanse. I’m so glad I found Vivaldi. They made the switch so easy. I didn’t have to lose any of my browsing history or saved credentials. Yes I did have to copy and paste all of my tabs over, but that’s just cause I’m a tab hoarder. I love this browser, it’s like my safe haven from AI. Please please pleaaaase never implement AI into your browser Vivaldi. Even if you add a disable button. It’s why I didn’t go for options like Firefox because they still had AI even if you can turn it off.

The Best Browser on both iPhoneOS and iPadOS
Safari didn't cut it, Opera & Opera GX are copies, Firefox is surprisingly (like, seriously, unexpectedly) horrendously optimized and lags like hell, and Vivaldi used to be the main browser I used everywhere (before I switched to using LibreWolf on Desktop about a year and a half ago). Unrivaled featureset for advertisement and tracker blocking (including block lists like those of Ublock Origin!), deep customizability of the appearance of the app & browser itself, very strong immediate tool access through swipe-up, etc. search engines are also customizable and you can create new references to ones of your choosing. Also has ability to switch engines for private tabs.

I have used this browser through thick and thin on my iPhone 16 pro, iPhone 12 mini, and my M1 iPad Pro. It is the best I have ever used inside the Apple Ecosystem.

Sick of Chrome, Brave and Firefox
Vivaldi is truly what we have been waiting for. There’s a little learning curve and some careful layout choices to make (customisable/reversible) but truly it is a revelation. Install it. Adapt it and feel the Internet in your veins again 🥷🏻
Best Mobile Browser
I tried browsers like Chrome and Opera to run Gmail and Facebook because I don’t want to use their invasive apps or even use them in my main Safari browser. Chrome wouldn’t even load their own Gmail right half the time. Both of those browsers would also randomly open their own homepage which was incredibly annoying. I’ve been using Vivaldi as one of my work machine browsers because I have to separate a bunch of portals and login info between multiple browsers. So I was like hey let me see if they have a mobile version. Well obviously they do and it’s amazing. Everything loads cleanly and quick and I love the actual tabs for quick switching. Who knows I may make it my default mobile browser cause Apple has really hosed how you have to open a menu to get to other tabs or view tabs. Vivaldi is awesome.

Adblocking is subpar compared to DuckDuckGo.
If I visit a website on this browser, I get ads. If I visit the same website on DuckDuckGo, I get no ads at all.

Can't open Poshmark
Poshmark listings get "can't open this page" error. Please fix. I always had to use Safari to open this and it's annoying.

I love that Vivaldi stands loud & proud against AI and is truly a people-centered company not based in the US. I know I can ask a question and get an answer from a human. And my browser isn’t full of junk that takes me away from the purpose of using it. I am so glad I’ve switched away from Chrome!
