This is a great web browser! Easy setup to what I want, and I love the fact that it’s from Norway and does not use AI.

Need updates regularly
If a month passes by no updates make it hard for users to trust this. Please make sure 2 updates in a month is better.
Needs some important fixes
• I would like to able to add a bookmark for some pages to multiple bookmark folders the way that I can in the Brave & Safari browsers. There are some things that absolutely need to be filed under multiple categories for many reasons, most importantly so that I don’t have to go searching through all my folders to try to find where I saved something about a topic that may fall under multiple topics as my brain interprets it.
• I can’t seem to find a way to delete browsing data (instead of just cached files & cookies) without it closing all of my tabs. Usually there’s a way to also remove the data, cookies, and cache without having to lose all of the open tabs. I stopped using the DuckDuckGo browser awhile back because I couldn’t figure out how to clear ANY data or cache at all without having to lose the tabs along with it.
- I’m sure there are other things but these are the big ones I’ve been noticing so far.

Early days
Only just started using but I am really impressed so far.
One little niggle, when saving to bookmarks, a bigger more noticeable dialog box would be handy, if you get distracted it’s gone, then we have to find it.
Overall a great app though.

Overall amazing, no glitches, and everything is what it’s advertised as.
No AI and Good Search
Had to find a browser without AI but ones like DuckDuckGo have a terrible search engine so I’m glad this one is much better

Lots of Candy, Missing Important Features, Meh
Vivaldi keeps coming out with major updates, but so far, on mobile for iPad and iPhone they need to implement some basic, basic utilities, like import/export Bookmarks to a local file (csv and html are good choices.) Vivaldi users need to be able to open their bookmarks file as an editable webpage that fills a full tab while the page can implement editing functions like select, cut, copy, paste, delete <— such amazing features that have been around for decades are just missing in Vivaldi while they concentrate on adding night mode and colored bars and icons (candy, who cares?). What about the Option to display a full-featured FILE MENU bar in the mobile app? Why not — too useful? There are plenty of requests for useful things like these, but? Result? Vivaldi == ★★ out of ☆☆☆☆☆. That’s ‘Meh’ territory, sadly!

Best browser I’ve tried
I’ve tried all the browsers, Vivaldi is meaningfully better. Also, it’s worker-owned, so it’s one of the few things on the web you can feel good about these days.

Private and Customizable
I love that there are other options than Google. I like being able to customize, as well as browse privately than freely give away all my data to big corps that don’t care about what happens to my information.
The best browser hands down
I was a long time user of Opera before they started doing things I didn’t like. Heard about Vivaldi from Reddit, and after taking the time to learn how to use Vivaldi, I haven’t thought about Opera since. Vivaldi is feature-rich while still being super secure. I’m content knowing I don’t have to worry about being shelled sponsored pages while I browse.
