What's New in Dungeon Scoundrel

1.0.8

May 21, 2026

``` Room Conditions arrive in Hero Run! Every dungeon room can now twist the rules on you. Eight new Room Conditions appear at random throughout Hero Run mode, each one changing how a single room plays out. Watch for these: • Ambush Room: monsters strike harder • Blessed Room: potions heal double • Echo Room: cards left behind gain power next room • Armory Room: weapons hit harder • Fortified Room: shields stand stronger • Blight Room: potions heal for half • Fragile Room: equipment breaks faster • Frenzy Room: bigger damage, faster decay Conditions appear roughly once every four rooms, never twice in a row, and never on the first room of a run. They affect Hero Run only, so Classic Dungeon still plays clean for purists. Plus a round of polish, accessibility improvements, and bug fixes. Thank you for playing!
Scoundrel Rocks! Accessible to blind!
I love the new difficulty modifications. My suggestions: a. Include gear for our hero’s. B. A shop that supports for fun and meta-progression play. C. Unique cards for the player, that we can purchase or earn with in-game currency. D. More direct boss battles. E. Better music slider controls. Though, i haven’t tested the music recently. So, i may be misinformed. Sound effects for monsters, such as roars, screams, shrill cries, sounds upon death. Ways to upgrade our characters number of pockets. More story. Actual currency, like gold. I dislike when NPCS mention gold, but i never get any gold. Hey, come on! I want my quest completion rewards. Any plans for currency, once we unlock all spells?>. Keep up the great work! Excellent game! New Update! I’m a 100% blind, content creator, on YouTube! Game Double Tap! My name is game and i play this game on my channel! It is really good! Sweet controls, clean UI, strong menus and punchy buttons! The dev is super friendly and works hard to make this game playable for all and of course, great for blind, blind/deaf, low vision. Not only that, but they are updating with pure content, which is awesome! When you get more than just ease of use, but content that is great! Also, my review of this game is the sounds are cute, fun and easy to decipher. Sword and bashing weapon sounds for physical attacks and magical sounds for magic effects. Sounds for equipping and removing items are abundant. I love the monster sounds and weapon sounds! I look forward to the dev’s great updates! Come to my channel and listen/watch me play
Response from developer
Thank you so much for this review! It means the world to me to know that the game is truly accessible and enjoyable for blind and low vision players. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and I'll keep adding new content with accessibility always in mind. Players like you help me make sure the game works for everyone. I'll definitely check out your channel, and thanks again for spreading the word!
Not scoundrel
no actual tutorial and the game is ridiculously hard to beat. everything is locked unless you can beat the game with each class. tried to refund same day but can’t. this guy is just here to scam you.
Not Much to It
I was surprised at the simplicity of this game. If you enjoy more heady challenges (Slay the Spire, or even Spider Solitaire), or if you have a firm grasp of pre-algebra, you won’t find any challenge here.
As long as you don’t waste resources, you can very easily play optimally every round.
Update: The developer said they are working on some updates to add depth! Sounds exciting!
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback! I hear you, the core gameplay is designed to be simple and accessible, but I understand it might feel too straightforward for players who enjoy deeper strategic challenges. Good news: I'm working on new features to add more layers of strategy to the gameplay. One example is "Room Conditions," where certain rooms will have special effects that change how you approach them. Some might boost your potions, while others have monsters that ambush you for extra damage. The goal is to make each run feel more dynamic and keep experienced players on their toes. I hope you'll give it another try once the update drops. Thanks for playing!
$.99 worth of content
Good concept, not enough to do.
Update: The recent addition of dungeons has definitely gelled expand on the game! Nice job!
Update 2: new update very buggy. When you switch characters in a dungeon run, it bugs out and you have to start all over.
Response from developer
I’m working on a new update this week that adds some cool features to boost replayability. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
