Очень медленно

Все бы ничего, но почему ж так медленно грузится перевод? Выбираю предложение и жду по 20-30 секунд. В итоге я в Гугле перевод найду быстрее чем тут что-то загрузится

Translation language

Would be a 5 but it keeps switching to German as the translation language for imported epub books.

Большое спасибо за ваш отзыв! ❤️ Чтобы учить слова только из своего словаря, перейдите на вкладку «Учить слова» → «Настройки» (значок в виде шестерёнки вверху) → «Источники слов» → оставьте активной только опцию «Мой словарь».

Так, загрузку с конца пофиксили, и это славно. Как копировать слова в свои карточки Quizlet? Опять же, я не знаю, в чем смысл отсутствия этой элементарной вещи, но язык тут не поизучаешь (

Очень классное приложение

Я в восторге, не думал, что будет так хорошо работать. Удобный интерфейс, плюс есть перевод по слову и предложению с его разбором. Так еще и бесплатно…. Странно, почему такой рейтинг и прога не в топе, думал, будет подвох. Разрабам и всем причастным низкий поклон!

Terrible

Can only select one word at at time for translation. I would describe that as idiotic design and useless for language learning. Also the interface is baffling. Awful. One of the worst apps I’ve ever seen.

Thank you for the feedback! You can translate not only words, but full sentences simply by tapping on it once. You can contact us via email we will help you resolve any issues. The app has started giving translations slowly

I really love your app and have been using it for a long time.
But since yesterday, translations have started loading very slowly, I have to wait about 10 seconds, whereas before the translation appeared instantly.
What could be the problem?

Thank you for the feedback. We had some technical issues that were the reason of performance problems. But it has been solved, you can enjoy quick translations again.

Poorly executed

This app first asked me which language to use for translation, but when I tried my first sample reading it translated the Spanish to German. When I figured out how to fix this, it then said I had no more free translations so I have no idea if I’d want this app. Additionally there seems no way to search for books in a particular language.

Thank you for your feedback! We’ve improved a lot in last couple of months, please update the app to latest version and try it out again. You can now import into the app any EPUB books you want in any language and read with translation.

Great

Great app ! The subscription isn’t too expensive. I use it to learn spanish. A cool feature would be to be able to be tested on the vocabulary we saved in the dictionnary ^^ . It would then be the perfect app to read and learn a foreign language.

Great for languages

This app has taken my reading proficiency to a whole new level. I can understand cọmplex texts in my target language much faster, and the text-to-speech option is good for improving my pronunciation

Nice app with slick interface

Nice app with slick interface. The word or sentence translation in duoBooks is very neat. I’ve tried competitors like readlang and lingq and they all feel clunkier. Loses a couple of stars because other apps have more functionality (like spaced repetition learning) but the app is still in development so that may come later

Annoying video intro

I have paid version and every time I open any book I see this annoying video intro with app title. That why 4 stars and not five, why should I see it every time?

Excellent cross language reader

This app has revolutionized my language study! I use it with purchased ePub files in a language I am studying. The interface is intuitive. It's also very fast to use and provides a smooth experience during long reading sessions. The developer is receptive to feedback, even filling in details to improve dark mode based on user feedback.
