Used to Helpful-Not Anymore
This used to be a wonderful tool in years past, but starting in 2026 for some reason, it’s not being updated or modified based on holidays or bad weather. And those are the times that the tool was the most useful - when there was any type of schedule change due to a holiday or bad weather. Whoever used to be responsible for keeping this app updated must no longer work there.

Calendar
Since the beginning of August 2025, the calendar hasn’t been working. It says that I need to search an event, like yard waste, but never shows results.

The calendar stopped working. All is says is “ please type” and nothing happens no matter what you type

Not as good as it used to be.
App was functioning up until several months ago where it started getting glitchy. Very difficult to find what carts are supposed to be rolling out each week. Have reported this. No fix.
Great resource
Prior to downloading this app, I was always forgetting to put the trash to the curb. Or, my wife would be the one that will remind me to put the trashcan to the curb. Downloading this app was the fix, I really appreciate the service!

Durham rollout is good for reminding me which week it is (recycling or regular garbage) as well as other helpful info.

For years, it worked great. Then - this week, it decided that it can no longer find the same address that it worked perfectly with for years. The heck did y’all do?

I chose the app
You could put the schedule on your calendar but I chose the app. It simplifies the expectation of when to do what on what day and the app is colorful too.
I love it
Before I discovered this app, I was often missing, trash, recycle and yard waste pickup. After years of having one pick up date, it changed to three different dates and I was always missing it. This app is awesome because it connects to my calendar so I can always look at it and see when the next pick up is to occur

Just what I needed…
This app has proven to be so useful for determining, which days are trash days, or recycle days, or organic refuge day. And the reminder email certainly helps as well.

Opt out option desired for yard waste
This is a helpful App, especially for recycling since it does not occur weekly. However, I do not subscribe to yard waste pickup and would like the ability to opt out of getting auto notices for it.

The app is a great reminder tool however I can not say the same about the weekly pick up. For more than eight straight weeks our trash has not been picked up on its scheduled date. It’s missed on Thursday, then Thursday evening I submit a one call ticket and on Saturday morning the trash is finally picked up and the cart can be moved to the rear of the home as required by solid waste’s instructions. Do the route personnel run by any route sheet or computer/GPS CAD system? You would think after 8 plus weeks of continuous one call submissions that someone within operations would follow up. Oh…maybe they are working from home.
