I No Longer Stalk My Neighbor’s Cans

Every Wednesday night used to be a spiral of doubt—is it recycling week or am I about to publicly fail in front of my neighbors again? I’d wait to see who wheeled what to the curb like a bin-based Groundhog Day.

But now? The Raleigh Reuse & Waste app hits me with a perfectly timed reminder like, “Hey genius, tomorrow’s trash day.” And suddenly I’m the most confident guy on the block every Thursday.

Waste Wizard? A legend. I type in “weird foam thing” and it tells me what to do. No judgment.

If you live in Raleigh and don’t have this app, you’re winging it. And it shows.
