But now? The Raleigh Reuse & Waste app hits me with a perfectly timed reminder like, “Hey genius, tomorrow’s trash day.” And suddenly I’m the most confident guy on the block every Thursday.
Waste Wizard? A legend. I type in “weird foam thing” and it tells me what to do. No judgment.
If you live in Raleigh and don’t have this app, you’re winging it. And it shows.

Very handy app
I originally downloaded this app to have a schedule of the alternating recycling/yard waste weeks. We had bad weather during one of the pickups and unfortunately my cul-de-sac wasn’t picked up, with everyone else in the neighborhood having their bins picked up. I was able to report this through the app and they came 2 days later to pick up my bins. Im appreciative that I can report these things through the app and not worry that my trash/yard waste/ recycling will be accidentally skipped, and makes me confident that the pick up won’t fall through the cracks
