Subscription to load online articles?
I already paid for the app. Why do I have to pay a subscription to be able to refresh the feed to see articles of websites, none of them being sites that you own? I might as well just bookmark all the sites into an RSS feed and view them from there

For over 10 years WhoNews has provided news and notifications for a one off payment of $1.49. Unfortunately the cost of running servers and services to collect all the Who goodness from 100s of sites has become more expensive. If I don’t move to a subscription payment and enough users subscribe, then I will be force to shut the service down. That’s something I really don’t want to do. For the price of a cup of coffee each month, you get all your Doctor Who news aggregated in one place, notified when stories break and continued development of the app plus support from a developer. WhoNews still provides the latest news every 6 hours if you don’t subscribe.
So glad the Compact Mode has returned.
Delighted that the Compact Mode style has been returned. This has returned the app to one of my most regularly used apps. Thank you to the developer who took the time to reply to, and take on board feedback about the last version.

Good resource
There's a lot of information available to check out which is a primary benefit of this app. Sometimes, the notifications can be overwhelming if not checking the latest news on a regular basis. In addition, the short descriptions of some articles on the index are more about the article's writer and source versus the article itself.
I wish there was more news about lost episode findings/progress, but until more discoveries are made ... more a wish than a criticism.

The best Dr. Who app out there
This app gives you all of your Dr. Who news in one easy to navigate format. I read this every day and find stories and updates that I do not find elsewhere.
This is the only WHO app to get
If you want every piece of Doctor Who news before everyone else, ranging from episodes to toys to blogs and more, detailing everything you could want and more, then this is the only app to have! I couldn't live without it!!

I spend more time than I am willing to admit reading the articles on this app. It seems to work well on my iPhone 6. The newer interface does not use space as efficiently as the older interface but it is still quite nice. One quibble I have is that I am not a fan boy and am only interested in news related to Doctor Who so I don't care to hear news about David Tennant's newest TV show or Matt Smith's newest movie since it is not directly related to Doctor Who but I get that a lot of fans are interested in their continuing exploits so I can understand why that is reported also. Overall, this is the best app of its kind that I have found in the app store.

Rubbish
Used to be an excellent app consolidating news feeds from all the top Who site. Updated app today on both iPad and iPhone and no longer works on either device. Sack the quality manager.
Update not working at all...
Just updated the newest version this morning(July the 13) and the app no longer functions. :(. I even deleted it and downloaded it again and still nothing. The front page opens up that says WhoNews, it sits on that page for a few seconds and the app closes down every time. Please fix ASAP, your app has always been great and I rely on it each day for all my up to date Who news!!!! I rate the app five stars, but please fix this recent update issue...

IOS 7 update messy
This is generally a very good app, but the IOS 7 update looks an absolute mess on iPads. Cluttered, very difficult to look at, news stories are very close together and hard to separate. Okay on iPhone.
