The interface is pretty poor.

Can’t access my subscription with this ap

Terrible app- and does not sync subscription with website

The Dwell app charges my credit card through Apple but keeps kicking me out and will not restore my purchases without making me contact customer service. They also make it impossible to read on-line content with my Apple subscription because they do not sync my account.

Unable to login

I received an email from Dwell inviting me to login with my subscription but it doesn’t work nor can I create an account.

Something went wrong

I have the Dwell All Access subscription. I keep getting a “Something went wrong “ error when trying to login. Dwell has outsourced tech support to a 3rd party who sends me confirmation emails that they’ve received my help request, and that’s the end of it. They never contact me to fix the problem. For a $55 annual subscription, I expect better than this.

Love dwell

Ive been reading this magazine since2009. Read my first issue at dentist office. Peaked my intrest because of a shipping container home picture. Subscribed and wait for every issue. I like the title of each issue to encourage me with a big thought. Im a stroke survivor.
Im interested in down sizing again. I was a contractor for 20yrs before stroke. Worked in construction the30 yrs before that. Every issue gives me a little inspiration to continue on.
Dream big is the latest encouragement.

I’ve logged in multiple times and yet i still get the the timer at the bottom. I’m a subscriber!

Horrible

Why can’t they create an app that doesn’t keep asking you to subscribe (even after you subscribed!)??? So stupid… and frustrating.

Not access if you subscribed on wen

For whatever reason you cannot log in with the username and pw you created if you signed up for a physical/digital subscription of Dwell. You have to buy this in app again if you want app access. Stupid.

Buggy app

Terrible ap! Bugggy. Like the content tho

Don’t even bother downloading…

If you got your Dwell subscription from the Dwell website, I have physical magazine + online subscription, this app is in no way connected other than in name. You can login but that is it. If you want to access content beyond minutes then you are required to pay. Reaching out for help through the app results in nothing, no reply just crickets. So if you got your subscription through the website this is not for you. Do not download.

Hard to navigate

Often the links from the content page don’t work, and once you finish an article if you click the back button you end up on the issue selection page. A frustrating experience.

Amazing Magazine, Terrible App

Dwell’s app leaves a bit to be desired. For a magazine that centers on design, the app seems to be an afterthought, especially on an iPad. Really frustrating. The Jan/Feb issue won’t show up despite resetting and deleting and reinstalling the app. Content is amazing as always, just difficult to navigate on this clunky app.

Not related to Dwell+ website

I’m rating this two stars in case you want to buy old Dwell magazines.

But if you already have a Dwell magazine subscription, or Dwell+ website subscription, know that this app not part of those products. You cannot login with your website credentials, and will be asked to pay again for the same content.

If all you want is dwell in an app, then this could be a great product for you. Just know that it’s not part of the print or web subscriptions.

Nothing syncs

I have signed on so many times in different ways trying to get Dwell to recognize my account and yet each time I purchase a subscription, nothing seems to sync between the email newsletter content I’m trying to view, the app, and the web, Pinterest, etc. I have to login every single time and most of the time it doesn’t recognize me and I have try something else. Complete waste of my time.

App doesn’t work

Like many others have noted, the app does not sync with the paid for subscription for dwell+ or the print subscription. Seems like this app is an entirely separate platform and all this provides pdf thumb turn through their print magazines. Useless.

Find another way to access this magazine.

Downloaded the app, paid for the subscription, but new issues do not show up. Contacted “developer help”, was able to get that issue, but the present issue again does not show, and can not seem to get contact with developer, very dissatisfied.

Waste of money

App doesn’t let you sign in.

Useless

The Dwell app doesn’t allow you to read the Dwell magazine even if you are a subscriber.

Legit?

Upon further investigation, I have to seriously question whether this app is a legitimate offshoot of Dwell. Note that there is no mention of an app on Dwell.com, even when searching under support, and the pricing structure seems different than the subscription options offered on Dwell.com. It’s either a third-party app or a scam, but either way I’ve deleted it and don’t recommend its use.
