I contacted support, they told me that they couldn't help. Taking my business elsewhere.

Unusable

The app does not allow e-books to be read, let alone downloaded. I suspect the upkeep of the app isn’t a priority

can't access the book i just bought

The very least you'd expect of an e-reader is that you can actually access the book you've bought. Instead I have just been directed to customer support for what is bound to be further frustrations and wasted time. I am an idiot. You would think that five 'one star' reviews would have warned me, but I was determined to not give my money to Amazon. Instead I should have just torn up the banknotes and scattered them to the wind...
