About
DynamicPOV app turns the iPhone, iPad, or AirPods you already own into a precision head tracker for flight simulator — look around the virtual cockpit just by moving your head.
No dongle, no clips, no extra hardware. Your device streams head motion to OpenTrack on your PC over Wi-Fi, and OpenTrack feeds it straight into Microsoft Flight Simulator and any OpenTrack-compatible sim.
THREE WAYS TO TRACK
• TrueDepth camera (6DOF) — full head position and rotation with depth-accurate precision. Lean in, move, and look around naturally.
• Front camera (6DOF) — face-based tracking for devices without a TrueDepth sensor.
• AirPods motion (3DOF) — smooth head rotation using Spatial Audio head tracking. Works with AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and AirPods (3rd & 4th generation).
• Combine modes — use the camera for position and AirPods for rotation at the same time.
FINE-TUNE EVERYTHING
• Enable or disable any axis: X, Y, Z, Zoom, Yaw, Pitch, and Roll.
• Per-axis response curves with a live preview graph.
• Adjustable max input and output distance for every axis.
• Sensitivity, smoothness, and per-axis Reverse.
• One-tap Re-Center to reset your neutral head position anytime.
• Zoom axis to lean in on the instruments.
BUILT FOR YOUR SETUP
• Connect over local Wi-Fi or your device's built-in hotspot.
• Update rate up to 30 Hz for low-latency, responsive tracking.
• Keeps the screen awake while tracking so you never drop out mid-flight.
PRIVACY FIRST
Sim Motion Tracker reads numeric head position and motion values only. No photos, video, or audio are ever recorded or uploaded.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A Windows PC running your flight sim and OpenTrack (free, open source).
• iPhone/iPad and PC on the same Wi-Fi network, or use hotspot mode.
• For AirPods tracking: a supported AirPods model with head tracking enabled.
Take your seat, center your view, and fly with a natural pilot point of view.
