Ear Trainer Lite
I liked this app so after trying the light version I purchased the full version but I was unable to download it and the developers do not answer their messages, seems to be inactive. I received a full refund from apple.
Intervals!
I have improved my sight-reading significantly in a short time using Ear Trainer. The only criticism I have is that, if I don’t have a passing score on an exercise, there is a suggestion that I repeat it. So I’ve done one exercise four times without improvement. I don’t know what to do.

Some weeks ago i installed the lite version. Right from the beginning it was fun, motivating and helped me to experience music in a deeper, intense way. I’m a guitar player and was looking for a tool that helped me to develop my ear on a regular basis. Especially while traveling and not having my instrument with me or around me.
The structure of this App is amazing. It’s practical, logical and it adjust to your progress just fine. I bought the full version and was amazed yet again. I’ve you want to train your ear in a organized and professional way this is the app to go for. It’s worth every single cent. Regularly updates, tons of possibilities and a direct support from the developers as well.
You learn to compare intervals and identifying them. From chords, over scales and even identifying short melodies. Here you have it! The sound quality is good and also changeable to guitar sound if you like. Spending 10 min with this tool are gone in a blink of an eye while practicing.
This App can be highly recommended to every kind of musician.

Ear trainer lite.
Really good, but by choosing random keys this program tends to become confusing and misses a simple opportunity. Like the vast majority of music heads, without perfect pitch, I know I will (most likely) never have perfect pitch. If the exercises could be re-jigged to use middle C as the root I personally feel that this program would be at a level to achieve its primary objectives but in a context which would go further in fulfilling the aspirations and learning desires of those of use drawn to committing to spend good money to go further.

Easy to use and helpful. Especially if you work out the intervals by solfège or type before selecting the answer. This could be an improvement.

Perfect for the absolute beginner
Currently getting my musical education from this app, and it is incredible. Perfectly engineered, intuitive and filled with all manner of useful exercises. Perfect if you’re absolutely tone deaf - like me - and wanna get rid of it for good.
