Developers read my review

They emailed me to see if I wanted to change my review, I presume that means they fixed the problem .

I live in the United States and we use the imperial system. But I cannot turn off the metric system in their settings , so now what do I do as they don't provide an email address for their customers .

Not Happy

I accidentally touched the metric setting and as I live i the United States I need the imperial setting . Well , it is ridiculously hard to find settings on this app, as they are not again line in every other I have on my iphone 12 . And apparently once you have chosen something you cannot change it .
So I am paying cor an app that I cannot use because I need to change settings .

Watch out for the subscription sign up during setup

When going through the setup for the new version, there’s a sneaky page that tries to get you to click a big “continue” button but that starts a subscription. You have to find the tiny X at the top to bypass it.
Other than that, the app is fantastic and well written.

Decades of enjoyment

I have been enjoying the information provided by this application for mini decades. When the large earthquake off of Japan happened, I was made aware of that that evening and was shocked at the devastation that was unfolding live before our eyes had it not been for this application if this would’ve gone greatly unnoticed or hours. Also being educational and seeing earthquake, swarms, earthquake patterns, and watching Dutch, since I have grown to enjoy these earth changes and learn more about seismic activity.

Earthquake in Quebec at 18 magnitude? Impossible.

This was shown by the app on Dec 30, 2024, at a depth of 11k kilometres. Can only be a flaw or due to wrong data.
It was not corrected for 5 days at least.
Otherwise this app is useful.

Hello there, thank you for the feedback. We looked into this and see that the Reporting source never updated this from the original magnitude. This is obviously a flaw, and we are working to add additional sanity checking around this.

I’m very impressed with the consistency of this app as I reside in Hawaii and our location is venerable to tsunamis from all directions. Your mapping is quick to locate my settings as I monitor daily. 🤙

Can’t read the right side - Text is too large and scrolling side to side is impractical
