Sincerely sorry about this. The crash wasn't in our app's logic. It came from a bug in the third-party open-source crypto library we rely on for PGP, which started crashing in its latest release build. We've rolled that library back to a stable version and the crash is gone.

Not good

Simple thongs like the “unhide” feature when entering a signature password makes this a very amateurish app. I mean, how can you trust an app with your secret keys if something this simple doesn’t work. There is also no easy method of encrypting and signing a message. Very dissapointing

Thank you for the detailed feedback — this is genuinely helpful. I haven’t had enough time to dedicate to it since the design update. The new version will fix the interface issues, but I can assure you that even though this is a simple app, it was built with security in mind. None of your personal data leaves your device. If you have specific feature requests, I'd genuinely love to hear them.

I really like the app.Would it be possible for it to read a Yubikey for encryption?

Works exactly as described

Idk why the other review is complaining about “it doesn’t encrypt files only text”…. Yea no duh, thats what it literally says via description.
If you want one that works on Files it’s literally 2 or 3 apps below…. Naturally that person would need that one and didn’t even bother to read descriptions of the first 3 or 4 apps when searching PGP….

It works GREAT for what it is designed for. Ignore the ignorant reviews.

Best PGP App on iOS

This is the best PGP app I can find on iOS. Two nit picks, update the welcome screen on iOS as it mentions using “Android Keystore”, and hiding the upgrade buttons after upgrade.

good for privacy, not great in practice

you can only encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify text. instead of being able to do that for any file

Cannot import keys from ASC file

I use PGP all the time and have many keys. I exported them to an ASC file and this app does not recognize it or even open it. so how do i import keys?
