I used this app several years ago and in general was very pleased. THEN i started getting messages that I needed to pay...tried but system would not allow. Read reviews, now am confused and reluctant to go forward with a purchase??.

I tried to translate a sentence, and it told me I would have to buy the premium version. Deleting the app!

Not so great.
I got this yesterday to talk to a relative who speaks Portuguese. At first it worked fine,but then every time I wanted to right something it would just say " buy the full version so you can have unlimited translation" and then I saw that at the bottom of the language that you are typing it has a number of how many characters you have left until you can't translate anymore. So then I only had 3 letters left and I'm like WHAT. so I deleted the app and got a new one that I'm hoping will work better

Not for Russian
First, if you want the speech, you have to pay. Second, I can type in English and have it translate into Russian, but when the Russian speaker wants to type back, the keypad still has English alphabet and

I use it for my french class if I don't remember a word, or if I'm too lazy to look in my notes. Works 100 times better than google translate.

Cannot get the program to accept a copied text. I copied the Spanish from a document and tried to paste it into the program, it would not paste. I don't want to have to re-type all those lines of Spanish text.
Also there is no instruction pages or anywhere to go for help to solve the problem.
Don't buy it till they get these problems resolved.
