How do you know remotely when the heater or air conditioner is actually running

I can’t tell by looking at the App if my air conditioner is running when I get a high temperature alert. I can see my actual thermostat temperature numbers light up when I’m at my trailer, why can’t the App do that.

For some reason, I had to delete the APP, log back in, and reset the WiFi settings to get it to work again. Seems to have issues after a phone software update.

Poor visibility of screen in dim lighting

The app does not allow to turn off night mode on my iOS 26 iPhone 17. The black background and the faint letters with small font makes setting up the thermostat very difficult.
