with room for improvement

The ‘recent meals’ view unfortunately isn’t well implemented. You can’t scroll left or right to get a proper look at the entries, which makes it nearly impossible to select the right meal on purpose – it’s more like guessing and hoping you tapped the correct one. Since the app already uses AI, some kind of automatic categorization would make a lot of sense – e.g. by meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or by food/ingredients – to make selection much easier. This is by far the most frustrating part of the app so far, since it forces you to re-enter so many things manually instead of just picking them from the list.

Response from developer

Thank you for this, great feedback. We're working on built meal-type filters, search, and photo thumbnails for the My Meals picker, and they're coming in the next update. Thanks again :)

Bref … ça aide mais c’est pas ça.

Response from developer

Can’t use without paying

I think the concept of this is super cool however I only logged one meal item before it told me I had to upgrade to continue… there is no way to know if you like the app if you only get to use it for 5 seconds. Considering the app is almost entirely AI, it shouldn’t cost much to have a free version.

They do have a trial option but with the trial, you’ll be charged as soon as it’s over so that defeats the purpose. If they ever come out with a free version, I would 100% be willing to try again.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. We can’t offer unlimited free use because the AI processing has real ongoing costs. We’re still deliberating on the free trial period. Appreciate you trying it :)

Perfect app / responsive developer

Great app that gets it on all levels. Developer is responsive to boot!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 It really means a lot to hear that you’re enjoying the app.

I like it but

I really like it but you can’t really do much with the free version.
I’m debating between this one (using the free 3 day trial) and another one that I’m able to use for free and is good enough for what I need it. But great app tho.

Response from developer

Thank you, glad you're enjoying it! :)
