Hitting is unrealistic
In Ranked mode, half of batted balls are popups where the catcher makes some insane slide or the ball jumps only 10’ off the ground. Fly balls are extremely rare despite infield popups being so common. Good luck actually getting a hit. Even hitting balls in power mode frequently allow an infielder to make an easy play. Switch to contact mode and you will rarely get it out of the infield. Any line drive in contact mode is an easy catch for the SS in *checks notes* CF…
Also, season mode sucks really bad. No in-game stats. Limited games. I also won every league WS with undefeated seasons playing highlights only. If I did active play, I would score 20+ by the 5th inning.
Last, arcade mode, which is the most promising, is wildly inconsistent with each challenge. First attempt will be “score a run this inning” with a runner on 2nd and no outs. Fairly easy but not a guarantee. But if you fail there’s a good chance your next attempt will be the same challenge yet it’s 1 out and nobody on base! Oh, and some levels you have to do this 3 times in a row.
