The worst app
Between the app and the actual charging station this must be the worst experience I ever had. Stevie wonder could develop a better UI. First of all - You need a ESB card to charge ur car. U can’t use contactless payment. You have to ring them, wait in the queue, give your payment details over the phone, hope you have your physical bank card on you, they then start it and you have to ring them AGAIN to finish the charge. The app is horrendous to use to find a charger near you. But it shows you chargers 25 miles away that are irrelevant. Would give minus stars at this rate.

Esb charging apps
Awful app with no card only payment option to use esb chargers. There is more than 1 app available that you have to pre load with money with no indication of which is the correct one. I downloaded the wrong one first and now have money on it. They take a lot of info from you, also would be very easy to accidentally sign up to a monthly payment option too. The app search function doesn’t work - I have managed to successfully charge using it but by chance each time. This is the kind of thing that puts people off electric cars. Would choose 0 stars if possible.

Poor experience and network
Searching doesn’t find the nearest charger, you can’t filter by speed, only charger socket. Network is pretty poor. Don’t bother until they’ve got a better network.

This app is just woeful. The UI is weird. It’s hard to find the map, I only ever do it by accident. The function to show you the nearest charger doesn’t work, it only shows one and it usually isn’t the nearest. You can be standing next to a charger and it doesn’t come up. The search function is stupid because it’s world wide. If I’m using this app I probably don’t want to search for somewhere in Egypt, but that’s the top result when I search for a local shopping centre. Hard to imagine how you could do a worse job.
Update: it’s even worse than I thought. I recently wanted to check charger availability so uses a suggested search for a recently used charger. Not found. Honestly this is garbage.
