Echo 1.2 brings complete compatibility for iOS 27 and a massive rebuild of OpenWebRX support. If you use OpenWebRX receivers, you'll notice a much smoother, faster experience. OPENWEBRX • Dramatically improved loading speeds. Receivers now open almost instantly thanks to smarter interface caching. • Fixed an issue preventing receivers from loading correctly on iOS 27. • Map, chat, help, and status links within the receiver interface are now fully functional across all server types. • Added a dedicated back control to easily return to the radio from secondary pages. • Added a new MENU control in the player header to toggle the receiver's native top bar, giving you more screen space when you want it. • Fixed an issue where some servers would incorrectly switch tuning modes during connection. OTHER RECEIVERS • KiwiSDR: Resolved an issue that could cause the receiver to continuously reload. • WebSDR: Fixed precision tuning for fractional kHz frequencies, ensuring SSB and CW signals come in crystal clear. AUDIO • Audio reliably resumes after interruptions like phone calls or Siri. • Updated the core audio engine for full iOS 27 compatibility. EVERYTHING ELSE • Fixed an alert on some stations that could not be dismissed. • Notes on saved servers now reliably persist between app sessions. • Updated the offline shortwave frequency database for the A26 season. • Refreshed the hot list. • Streamlined the interface by removing legacy SNR sorting and badges. • Visual refinements and UI cleanups throughout for iOS 27.
