Function and interface are flawless and easy to navigate so far for me. Primary use is amateur radio.
I can finally leave the app playing in the background without worrying about my screen timing out, and I can navigate to other phone or tablet functions like email while still listening.
I originally used during work travel for listening to a net that I frequent back home. I quickly realized this app is great for listening to so much more.

It’s amazing!
As a pure novice to the ham & shortwave radio realm finding this app is like winning the lottery. So much to learn and explore. If the developer ever puts out a link to a YouTube tutorial I’d be even more thrilled.

Listening to the World!
Since I started studying for my ham radio license a couple of years ago, I have learned to enjoy the world of SDR listening. But doing so via mobile browser has always proved to be complicated. The touch interface never felt quite calibrated right, and I often had to mess around with my sound settings.
But this app has bridged the gap between Web SDR and the iPhone. I like pulling it out just to listen for random ragged chews when I’m not in a position to transmit, or to see if I can pull in W1AW as I’m working to learn Morse code.

Might have found a new hobby
I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m having fun. Sure helps pass the time when you are home with health problems.

Stopped cellular data access
This app stopped cellular data service. iPhone XR iOS 18.7.9 (22H355). When uninstalled cellular data returned.
The app was working great for accessing multiple internet SDR receivers.
UPDATE - could not duplicate the problem.
Long boring explanation:
We were at the Yellowstone Lake hotel in Yellowstone National Park.
2 bars of cellular signal strength, my wife has an identical phone and was getting data, I was not.
We use Proton VPN and enabling or disabling the VPN had no effect, so I removed the last thing I installed, Echo app, data coverage returned.
We are home now, I re-installed your Echo app and cannot duplicate the problem when using cellular data.
It’s working fine and I enjoy the app.

I'm thrilled you found the app great for accessing SDR receivers! Regarding the data issue: iOS apps are entirely sandboxed and do not have the ability to interfere with your cellular service. That was likely a carrier-side drop or an iOS 18 system quirk that cleared up. I have been wanting an app just like this for so long, use web SDRs often but this makes it so convenient to listen from the phone/on the go rather than on the computer. Even just for AM/FM listening it’s vastly superior to all the “radio” apps that seem to just use the web streams of stations rather than actual radio. Searched many times for an app like this since it just seemed like something that should exist, thank you for making it real!
