Echoes From Beyond is an augmented reality game that transforms your device into a ghost hunting tool. You can hunt for virtual ghosts hidden in the real world, capture their energy, and compete on global leaderboards.
You play by using your device's camera to scan your surroundings for ghosts. Once a ghost is detected, you can shoot it with a laser beam to extract ectoplasmic energy (EKTO). This energy can be used to upgrade your weapons and traps.
The game is free to download and play, but it does offer in-app purchases. These purchases can enhance your gameplay experience, such as acquiring upgrades or special items.
Yes, the game offers offline support. While it works best with an internet connection for features like online rankings, you can still hunt ghosts and collect energy in areas without network connectivity.
Key features include augmented reality ghost hunting, collecting ectoplasmic energy, upgrading weapons and traps, global online rankings via Game Center, unique ghost waves per location, and the ability to share pictures of your battles.
