About

Eclipse Navigator helps you find the best place to watch a solar eclipse, explore local circumstances and follow the eclipse as it unfolds. View the full eclipse path or zoom in on a specific country. Select any location on the map to see local contact times, maximum obscuration and the duration of totality or annularity. All times are displayed in the local time zone of the selected location. The Live view lets you follow the lunar shadow and view current information for your location. The app can show cloud cover and help you identify areas with the best viewing prospects. Use AR Photo Mode to preview where the Sun will appear in the sky during different phases of the eclipse. This helps you prepare your viewing position and photographic composition in advance. Features: • Interactive maps for selected solar eclipses • Full eclipse path and individual country views • Local times for start, maximum, totality or annularity and end • Maximum obscuration and duration of totality or annularity • Animated lunar shadow • Place search and current-location support • Live view with countdown and lunar-shadow information • Cloud cover and an indication of the best viewing prospects • Sun altitude and azimuth • AR Photo Mode for planning eclipse photographs
