About
EcoBot makes the Ecotron the first NPEC research module with its own dedicated mobile app.
The NPEC Ecotron comprises 36 independently controlled research units where scientists create and monitor experimental mini-ecosystems to study interacting processes above and below ground.
Explore EcoBot without credentials using a bundled synthetic read-only demo. The demo does not contact NPEC services and cannot write to controllers.
Authorized researchers and operators can inspect live telemetry, health and warnings, camera imagery, 3D scans and time-lapse media; follow experiment insights; record maintenance; and review guarded controller commands.
Operational access is issued and scoped by the EcoBot Server. Every physical write requires review and Face ID or the device passcode, server-side authorization, live safety checks, controller readback, and restoration safeguards.
EcoBot is not a public controller or VPN service. Live NPEC access requires an institution-issued pairing credential and a separately supplied OpenVPN profile.
