I personalized my carbon footprint but it keeps resetting and my footprint decent change it says that I have a much higher food footprint than I actually do.

I signed up for this app thinking it was really cool, and I paid about 2 years worth of carbon offsets before I decided to cancel it. When I try to cancel the subscription, the app glitches and doesn't allow me to cancel my subscription. I’ve tried emailing and calling the website, but the number they provide is “unallocated” which just made me very sussed out. I even caled the merchant number they provided on my bill, and a different company answered and they had no idea what I was talking about. When I disputed it with my credit card company and put a stop pay on the merchant, they charged me through a different second account…. The longer this goes on, the more shady I think it is. This app/website is probably fraudulent and just takes people’s money. Save yourself and do not download !

Doesn’t capture the whole picture
Like the other reviews have said, it rewards you for small things, but doesn’t consider that other things have a much bigger impact. They developers need to consider the big picture.
The best way to make an impact? Vote for pro-environment and socially sustainable initiatives. Vote for leaders who work towards these efforts. Hold the megacorporations and big polluters accountable.
Anyway, the app is a good start to someone wanting to live more sustainably, but it’s just a start.
