Top reviews

Was great until update

Was honestly a great app until the update came out that upends the ordinance on the web instead of in the app.

Unusable

Canโ€™t use it anymore. Click on a statute, it shows up for a minute then disappears. What gives?

Easy to use

Easy to use tool but the only issue I have is that when to do a search for something, it sometimes returns words that are close to what you want. With these codes, we need exact search terms.

Town codes

Terrific timesaver !

Eh

Sentences cut off by screen. Won't fit to screen.

Useless

Waste of time. Wouldn't even find any zip codes for WA state.

Virtually useless

The search function is completely unusable. Every single time I try and search for a keyword I get the message "Alert. There was a network error. Please try again." If browsing from the table of contents didn't work I would've deleted this app long ago.

Response from developer

Thank you for previously providing your feedback and sharing your concern with the eCode Searchโ„ข app. We have recently released a completely new version of the app, with enhanced capabilities, additional device support, and better performance. If you have a moment, would you please consider trying the eCode Searchโ„ข app again? More than 2000 municipalities across the US rely on General Code to host and maintain their local Codes on our eCode360ยฎ platform, with more being added regularly. To see a list of local governments whose Codes we host and are searchable on the eCode Search app or online, please visit http://www.generalcode.com/resources/ecode360-library/. If you try the app again and continue to experience issues, we would appreciate hearing from you. Please send us a note at eCodeHelp@generalcode.com. Thank you, Jeff

Glitch

The keyboard will not stay up, and the app couldn't even find something as simple as the city of Houston, Texas. Really needs work done on it.

Good thing this is a free app

It is simply pathetic.

Great app

Every time I look for a section I need it is there. I don't know or see any problems like others report but it works for me.

Doesn't Work!

Agree with the other review on all problem points. It wouldn't recognize my area (is a 400,000 population not large enough?!). Crap App. Delete!

Get what you pay for

Only recognizes zip codes, not words, limited offering choices. Wants to sub locations in neighboring state. Keyboard won't stay open.
Deleted the app. Waste of time.

Great App

Great App

Helpful for finding my town code

Downloaded today and was able to quickly look up the fence requirements for my town. Saved me some phone calls and time digging around on the web. Thanks for the app!
