Ecwid is super easy to set up and manage an online business!! So far I’m very happy with this platform. I have tried Shopify and I feel Ecwid is easier to set up and manage! Definitely recommend!!
Amazing app for small business
This app has literally made our small business possible and they keep creating more ways to make our business successful. Their customer service is always responsive and nice. If they don’t have the answer then they will find it and email it in a timely manner. Best app ever!!

I like using the ecwid app as it is very easy to use especially when you are adding a listing. It is very user friendly and very quick to update. I have been having a hard time with other platforms as it takes too much time when you list an item. And this app works great for me.

Unusable
Extremely slow and freezes after making any clicks. I have the newest iPhone and app is up to date. No point of this app. I end up having to use the mobile site if I need to get anything done on my phone.

Love Ecwid but the price for the plans has gone up significantly over the years.
I have really enjoyed the ease of use of Ecwid and the ability to bring things about. However, when I started with Ecwid years ago, it was much more reasonably priced small businesses. I understand that there is changed and progress progression. But I started out when Ecwid only had three plan options. Now they have four outside of the free plan, but the prices have gone up so much per month. It’s still cheaper than Shopify however it’s not cheaper how much. Some of the same features I was used to getting in the venture plan have moved to the business plan and even before that it was called premium. Needless to say I’m not quite sure how much longer I’m going to be able to continue having my online store with Ecwid. Some of us do not gross 20 K a month. Some of us don’t even make sales every month. And that was one of the things that drew me too awkward is if you have a very small business, trying to get out there do what you can stay viable, you need options that aren’t gonna cost you a significant amount of overhead. Also, some of the connectivity to social media aspects, with the ability to customize layout those features don’t always integrate properly.

Unsupportive
They gladly take your money, but help you become successful , not a chance , just give us more of your money or give it to one of there buisness friends.
Poor service
It used to be good but the service is quite bad now, they removed the live chat. After I spoke several times with bots via email, as I think there are no more human being service, they say I have now the live chat which in part is “true” but doesn’t work properly, and I’m seeking them by email for a week, and the problem is not sorted yet. Plus after 2-3 emails from my side, answered me at the same thread Allianz Digital!?, how that can be possible? I’m having the suspect that they can be scams? If the problem is not sorted soon I’ll probably abandon Ecwid

Horrible practice of deactivating my store
I have been the customer of Ecwid for over 3 years, the increasing monthly subscription forced me to look for somewhere else. To avoid the renewal in 7 days, I cancelled the subscription plan earlier. Without any warning, and with 7 days remaining paid subscription left, ecwid just deactivated my online store while I still had an open order to deal with.
It's really horrible and cold way to keep your customers out. I am glad to look for alternative plan now rather than too much rely on it.

It is actually a great a user friendly online store easy to use and well designed
Monthly and weekly reports are also included automatically, however i just wish if therewas a date picker included within the online store for booking system not to have overbooking happening but overall the app is amazing and helped us alot in our motorcycle rental business
