About

ED Navigator is a standardized, evidence-based decision-support tool for emergency clinicians. It takes you from chief complaint to disposition with a consistent workflow for every patient. CHOOSE A COMPLAINT • 25 of the most common ED chief complaints, including chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, headache, syncope, stroke symptoms, fever, back pain, and trauma. • Focused history and exam questions with red flags and must-not-miss diagnoses for each. RISK TOOLS, PRE-FILLED • 37 validated decision instruments, including HEART, PERC, Wells (PE and DVT), YEARS, ADD-RS, Canadian CT Head, NEXUS, NIH Stroke Scale, CURB-65, qSOFA, NEWS2, Canadian Syncope Risk Score, and more. • Vitals, history, and results fill the inputs automatically. You confirm each one. A SPECIFIC WORKUP PLAN • Bedside tests, labs, imaging, indicated medications, and consults, built from the pathway, your answers, and the risk scores. • Check items as you order them. The checked items become the Plan in your note. RESULTS THAT UPDATE THE PLAN • Enter labs and imaging/ECG/POCUS findings. Abnormal results raise guidance cards right away, along with any new orders. • Repeat as results return. Each round is tracked. DISPOSITION AND DOCUMENTATION • Admit, observation, or discharge guidance once the evidence supports it, with the reasons shown. • A SOAP note with medical decision making, ready to copy into your chart. STEP-BY-STEP ALGORITHMS • A yes/no flowchart for each of the 25 complaints. Walk it one question at a time or view the full chart. PATIENT LIST • Keep several patients going at once, switch between them, and come back later. Cases save automatically and stay on your iPhone. OPTIONAL AI (BRING YOUR OWN KEY) • Choose Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, using your own API key. • AI plan review, reassessment, disposition consult, case questions, an AI-written note, and dictation that fills the intake form from your spoken summary. • Nothing is sent until you turn it on. Only de-identified case text goes to the provider you choose. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no analytics, no ads. Case data stays on your device. • Enter de-identified information only. ED Navigator is decision support for licensed clinicians. It supports, and does not replace, clinical judgment, institutional protocols, and pharmacy guidance. Medications are named with their indications. Dosing follows your local protocols.
