Satisfying, Relaxing, and Addictive!
Let me preface by saying, I have adhd. Is nearly impossible for me to find a game I can stick with for over a month. Not only does this game have continual playability, it’s simple enough that I don’t have to spend a bunch of brainpower on it. This game is quite relaxing. I spend my time by gathering resources, crafting, and I really enjoy sending them to forage for some reason. Now that I’ve maxed out my shelter and have 35 settlers, things move really quickly (adhd pace) and I can get a lot accomplished in one day. Despite playing for months, I still have more to do, like clearing more land and completing the achievements.
Overall, this is a very simple yet well designed game that has kept my interest piqued for months. I highly recommend!

Frustrating
This game has potential like other reviews said but there are some very frustrating things about this game. The upgrade time for the community shelter from 10+ settlers is 5 actual days, which is ridiculous. The campfire requests are always things I haven’t gotten built yet or the things I don’t have in the storage. My item storage is almost full and they never want the things I actually have. Some of the crafting is frustrating and time consuming gathering or making the needed supplies. The amount of time required for trades was the final straw for me. At this point I only had 10 settlers and sending all 10 on trade would’ve taken an entire day. If I sent 5 people it would’ve taken 5 days. That is just a ridiculous amount of time, I understand they want you to pay to expedite things but without constantly paying to speed things up the game gets stagnant and not fun to play.

No support (edited)
I am 3/4 of the way through the game. I maxed the campfire then it stopped assigning me tasks so I can’t continue in the game. I’ve tried using the app support button but the people at the other end aren’t associated with the game. The link they sent me to use to contact the correct people doesn’t work. I’m at the end of the rope waiting for help. Frustrating knowing I’ve spent about 50 days on a game I can’t complete.. if anyone out there can help please do.
(I changed to 3 stars because even though I can’t go any further I did enjoy the first 50 days. I’ve read other reviews and many people have same issues. For those who say things like costs too much money or takes days to build that is on them. You have choices, nothing costs money unless you want it too and you are given choices on speed of most interactions. It’s a puzzle to decide your priorities in the game. Anyway, at around 65 your done. 3 more buildings to go at 67 then game over. You can’t do last buildings without spending because once you max camp fire you can’t earn bonus bucks anymore. But. I thing more to game from there. Wish you all luck, I’m done.)

Within an hour …
So I thought I’d try it. I had my eye on a beautiful one that may have too much battling, raiding and planning for me whereas I just want to build pretty villages and progress through time. This isn’t it. Ugly people, strange time warping, only vague about how to earn coins -food is cooked yet they never eat, workshops built but they only chop wood and fetch water. Within an hour my coins and bucks were randomly decreasing in number. Why not increasing?

To many storms
While the game does have a nice casual ambiance to it there are a couple of improvements that could be made. First it’s a smidgen of a cash cow. Oh sure, I understand the need to make a profit and you can play free but the process will be extremely slow and painful without spending a lot of real money. So maybe dial it back a notch.
Secondly what’s with the constant storms folks. This game is a climate change catastrophe if you buy into that sort of thing. I can see having a storm every now and then but come on guy (balance) I spend a lot more time repairing things than actually building things. So again lighten up.

Could have been wonderful but now I’ve deleted it
Like other reviewers have mentioned, this game has such great potential. The graphics are well done and has such a nice, casual feel. And now after a week I’m deleting it. Why? Everything is a money grab, storms hit way too often and break your buildings which you have to repair which takes time… don’t wanna wait? Pay us. This building takes 5 days to upgrade. Don’t wanna wait? Pay us. Time after time you get hit with increasingly long wait times which in the end is structured to buy IAP’s. I would rather pay 5 dollars outright than be nickel and dimed time after time. Games structured like this show absolutely no respect for the player. Incredibly disappointed and I’m so glad I didn’t waste money buying Nubucks.

Has potential. A bit frustrating as it just seems to storm all the time, damaging/destroying a building, which takes 1-2 hours to repair and you can't use it during that time. I usually have 3 buildings being repairs at a time.
Menus are a bit annoying too. Keeps showing 250+ red numbers on my building button meaning I can build that many, but I can't, either because I am not the appropriate level, I don't have the prerequisite building, or the right resources so the number is useless. Menus are a little slow.
Otherwise it's a pretty decent game.

Buggy 🥴
Yeah there are so many bugs. Sometimes it will double click on something when you tap it so you accidentally purchase something. Also tried to discard a task at the campfire so many times and EVERYTIME it deletes the task under it. There’s also been a few times where the time progression of a task never moves and I need to pay to finish it. One time I paid to finish a task and when I went back on a few hours later, it was BACK. At least this time the time progression worked though 😐. Overall pretty buggy, but the gameplay is nice when you don’t wanna invest too much time in a game. Also collecting wood is annoying.

Quit stealing my stuff
Been playing Eden for roughly a week and it’s a fun game but I have a few problems. Wood is an absolute necessity but it frustrates me that I can’t collect more than five at a time. Another thing is the campfire tasks. I try to make stuff that I can both use for building upgrades and complete the tasks at the same time. But whenever I check it off of the vampire tasks it takes it from my store house. Causing me to start all over again. I’m so frustrated by this mechanic that I’ve nearly quit doing campfire tasks entirely. Please fix this

Has potential but lots of bugs
This is a fun game, I wish there was more to do in the game, more buildings, more activities. There are a lot of bugs, with the achievements some can’t be completed like building more than one campfire, I’ve build the small fire decorations and those don’t count, you only have the option for the one main campfire. Sometimes the time just stops ticking down on actions. When you spin the game hut wheel you only actually get the thing you land on sometimes.
Here’s to hoping they fix some bugs and add new levels, the game is pretty pointless after like lvl 70, it would be cool to be able to sculpt the land and have more land to work with

Slow but Steady
Some comments indicate this game doesn’t move as fast as they’d like. This is really a slow but steady game. Once you make up your mind that this is so, then the game meanders along at a very comfortable pace. I appreciate this kind of game because most of the other games I play are fast and furious. Thanks to the developers for this different kind of game that’s soothing rather than jarring.

Pay to Play
This game is great and has fantastic potential as a survival world building game. Aside from the not to much survival aspect, just the world building part is great. However, things take way too long and sadly it’s pay to play. Can not watch ads to cut down time, or finish things that are long. You need money to build everything even with the necessary supplies, and it’s almost just as hard to get money as the golden money. Best pay to play.

A game that punishes you for playing.
Storms. While you play this game, a storm will definitely occur after only a couple minutes of playtime. Each storm damages a crucial building. For example, if your workshop is damaged, you have to wait for it to be repaired until you can build items you need to progress in this game. You can, of course, use this game’s premium currency to rush the repair time. However, the frequency of these storms that damage buildings make it impossible to save the premium currency if you want to enjoy this game. The only potential way around this is to quickly log on, start building stuff, and exit the game. But even then you can start the game and a storm is occurring, damaging buildings. The game developers either want your money, or just don’t want you to play their game. With such a mind boggling game mechanic, you are far better off uninstalling. Stay far away from this game.

Timing is off
In-world, you go through multiple days in one real life 24 hour period. This wouldn’t be a problem except that tasks take real-world hours to complete, meaning it takes one villager an entire “day” to complete one task. And you get a storm every “day,” which means multiple storms in one real-world day and EVERY storm destroys at least one building, but usually two or three, and it puts your building completely out of commission for that time. I’ve repaired my carpenter’s hut 3 times today. That’s 6 real-world hours. At one point I set the game to repair a building right before I went to bed so that it would be fixed when I woke up. As soon as I opened the game again, I was in the middle of another storm that immediately destroyed the same building. It’s pretty clear that they make it frustrating so that you’ll spend money to speed things up. I’d rather just buy the game outright and only have to deal with one storm in a real-life 24 hour period.

Too many storms!
Or they are too likely to break things. As soon as I fix one thing, two more break. Real life is frustrating like that; I don’t need it in a game. Or if it only took a few minutes to fix things, that would be better, but it takes hours! And you can’t do anything with that building in the meantime. I think you’re supposed to be able to still do things with that building, and it will just take longer, but that’s not how it works. It just asks if you want to pay to speed up the repair.
Other than that, it’s pretty fun. I haven’t decided yet if the constant need to fix things is a dealbreaker. It does make it really hard to make progress, and making progress on things is the point of the game.

Ok - too many repairs & slow moving
Constantly I’m required to do a repair on a building post storm which results in me not having enough people to do other work It’s an ok game - very slow moving and easy to understand I play in between other games
Graphics are great & so much potential- but takes forever to build up coin to grow
Like that it’s a single player with no monsters or killing if people

Disappointed
I played this game for several months in the row. All thanks to very slow pace, forever long timers for building and upgrading things, and way too frequent cases where you need to repair what you have built. But i got over it. I grew to like it with all the imperfections.
And at lvl 65 i hit the ceiling that feels like a bug, where there are no longer tasks at campfire, except one where i need to build a decoration piece, that cost me silver coins to build, but there is no way to earn silver without tasks, other than daily reward or spinning wheel. And those two sources will take another month or two to get me to the amount needed for that one tasks.
There is only two buildings left that i can upgrade at my level, and they require even more silver.
I was hoping, that leveling up will unlock more tasks, and i started grinding xp by harvesting and scavenging. Hit lvl 66, still no changes to the situation… there are definitely more achievements to be gained, but i honestly don’t see how it would be possible to accomplish with what situation i am given.
Here is the worst part. When you think you can get some developer support, you are led to some TV channel web site. Not even sure what that is all about. But there is nothing on that site I found that would indicate anything to do with this game. So we are left with no help. Nobody to complain or talk to. I am so disappointed.
Fix the game. Or soon you will have nobody left to play it.

Room for Improvement
This game is great so far but if I thought it was going to stay this way, I would probably give it up right now. The storms are waaaaay too often and the time it takes to fix is too long. If I have a storm every 10 min and the damage from it takes an hour and a half when can I use my building? I completely agree about the people and time on the trade missions, both are unreasonable. I agree with everything that the old dude from Aug said and here it is still like that going on Feb so I’m keeping hope alive.

Gorgeous, BUT
This is one of the most high-potential-but-most-disappointing-execution games I’ve ever played. The animation is beautiful and surprisingly complex, the world is textured and interesting in a way that makes me want to explore it, and the mechanical framework is rich and varied and promises hours of fun with complex strategic resource management.
But all of that is smashed to bits by being hidden behind a nonsensical and confusing multi-currency system designed to force you into a cycle of microtransactions. You can barely get through the tutorial before you run into what is effectively a very pretty paywall - every mechanism for moving the game forward requires a bonkers arbitrary pricetag from a currency that you can only earn by scrimping coins from gathering quests that last tens of minutes. “Of course,” they say, “if you just want to pay us you can skip all that nonsense.” And, I suppose, if that’s what you want, this could be an engaging game for you.
As for me, I prefer when they just make you pay up front rather than trying to manipulate you into it. It’s not worth it to me to wait hours to get through any of the content. That’s too much like real life.

Too many storms
I would probably give this game 5 stars if it weren’t for the constant storms that come through and destroy the buildings I’ve built. It happens multiple times every hour. When a storm destroys your building/farm/animal enclosure you have to wait 1.5-3.5 hours for them to be repaired before you can use them. If the building was in use, the progress is paused until you repair the building. I tried setting up 9 hour tasks to run while I slept, but when I woke up the next morning they had been paused because a storm had come through. Then I had to wait 2 hours to repair it, just to unpause the previous task. The storms make this too frustrating at this point.
