Scam/Phishing App?
The page is app was advertised on at Facebook was is called “Fortune Room”. The page was created on November 1st, 2023 and was originally “Brooks Rhodes Freeberry”. The page name was changed to “Fortune Room” on July 8th, 2025. The page has had 20 ads running on Facebook covering the states of; Minnesota, Florida, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. 1 casino is advertised per state, and each ad leads to its own app. In the ads for the other states (go to ad library on Facebook,) you can see that the other states have the app named after the casino in their state, not the other states’s casino. The paystub ticket in the ads all have the same amount but are different for each casino. Each app is made by a different developer, and the description of the app is roughly the same style across all 4 apps, including the total ratings, overall rating, and app download size. I have not checked what’s actually inside the apps, because I’m assuming that this is an in depth scam run by someone trying to phish money from people. Do not download this app or any of the other apps from that Facebook page.
