Slower
Much slower process. I would go back to the paper punch card in a heartbeat. This process takes so much time to dig out my phone, open the app, hand the phone to the cashier, they do their thing, then I get the phone back. Then I have to dig out my wallet and pay.
The old way of having a simple little card in my wallet was so easy. I could hand my credit and punch cards to the cashier.

Update needed
Bring this app up to date with a QR that can be read at the cash register. Doing this should make the process a little faster. Using the app has caused the check out process slow and lines get longer.
Also provide a way that users can change the location after initial setup.

The app requires the user to hand the phone to the one and only kiosk attendant so they can enter a code. The same attendant handles your coffee and food. That's a serious enough health issue that I removed the app. 1 in 6 mobile phones are contaminated with fecal matter.
