Good stuff but now bad with latest update
Latest update v2.03 messed up a few things !
1. For a few days the refresh wasn’t working seems this was a back end thing and now working. No longer an issue.
2. you got rid of the AI support.
3. The grid connection now shows generator connection. (I don’t have a generator)

Overall I appreciate the app and looks
Nice.
The easy switch between simple and detailed allow me to see my batteries down the line and if they are balanced. As another person indicated, this prevents changing things in the Home Screen on accident, the style is nice and closer to HA.
I am not looking for more functionality just a different way to view the information. The graphs could use some work, but a great step forward.
I still use both apps, and appreciate I can compare if the readings are accurate(delayed).
I am using this app more and more.

Two Stars for Dark Mode
App Does not refresh often or on command, likely heavily throttled. Had to use the other app to get this one working. It does the trick but could be improved with quicker updates, visually is great.
Pretty but no real function.
This app looks exciting and flashy. But no utility is to be gained. The graphs have no data lines with numbers. They are just line charts the go up and down. There still is no way to annotate ac coupled power as a secondary PV input. In fact it doesn’t display data for ac coupled power at all. The “advanced” settings adjustment is barely basic. You are missing so many important aspects of setting parameters for battery and power usage. This app is a failure if you really wanted to do anything with your system other than look at it, and even then you won’t get half the data the old app gives. Very disappointing.

Almost there!
Much beter with automatic parallel selection, and cleaner interface. Hope one day features like solar yield today tomorrow are also in the app. And more push notifications options. All in all good

Data seems incorrect
The data reported in this App is significantly different than what’s displayed in the EG4 Monitor App and the desktop (browser) versions - both of the latter agree and seem to be accurate, meaning this App’s data is fundamentally inaccurate. This is obviously troubling for a number of reasons. I recommend pulling this App and retooling prior to re-release. The UI is attractive, but lacks alternative charting for data where fine-grained analysis is required. Looking forward to a revised version.

Needs more time
I like the idea of what they are going for but they focused way more on looks than functionality. Yeah the old app looks boring and like it was made in the 90s but it just works. Everything you need is right in front of you and if you need to go find something it’s pretty straightforward. If I go to the data screen in the old app I can get a good idea of what the system was doing and how the weather was based on that. In the new app I go there and the best I can do is compare 2 different data points together. It adds more steps and gives less information at the same time. Again I love the idea and it looks nice, it just needs A LOT of work before it can come close to replacing the old app.

New Not New
Please make this for the iWatch for quick reviews and info on the run. I love the detailed online data app for monitoring but sometimes just a quick review would be great on the wrist.
Major feature upgrade May 2026
Yay! Thank you EG4 for finally making this app useful. It now has enough basic information that most of the time the other EG4 monitor app is no longer necessary!
New monitor app for EG4 is an upgrade
Cleaner and better than the EG4 Monitor app. I really like that you can’t set a quick charge from the Home Screen. I would always accidentally activate the quick charge and I was always concerned I would alter settings with the previous app. So far so good!
Needs work
Not something we feel confident giving to our customers. Same reliability as their flexboss. Destined to fail. Stick with the 18k
Notice how they make apps but they never work?
This is the second EG4 app I’ve had and followed all the steps CORRECTLY but the app still won’t connect correctly and how me ANYTHING.
Buggy but has potential
I have a 12000xp. The app Looks really nice, super buggy and the data in graphs is very inaccurate. I like how many parameters can be seen in the graphs but I’d like to be able to select them individually, not just categories. I know it’s helpful for the non nerds to have an easy UI but for us diy nerds(which most eg4 customers are) I’d like to be able to see every piece of data there is. Would also love to be able to change any setting from the app. I’m giving 4 stars based on the potential that it has to be truly great.

Half Baked
No idea where it’s grabbing the information from as far as usage goes but it’s completely wrong. Need line graphs instead of bar graphs to give me actual useful information plotted out over time for what happened during the day. You guys should know your off grid community you helped build and what we want better than this.
