This app works one time and the next day I need to restart my phone to get it to work. Not easy to deal with

This eg4 utility is better than I expected. It’s as good as the SOK-BMS app that I use on those batteries. This doesn’t tell you the charge cycle count or the balance state but the latter at least is available in their windows tools. I like it. The only con is they could have packed every thing into one screen instead two. Well another is you have to choose the bluetooth device every time you start the app and there’s no apparent way to save that info once so you don’t have to enter it again. BTW it looks totally different than the images shown in the listing here, much more attractive.

Barely useful
On iOS the app must be manually closed, reopened and reconnected to the battery to show status. The screen is not what is shown here.
Upgraded version worse
The older version could communicate with all my batteries, not the 1.5(7) version. The old version clearly graphically displays the % charge vs the new update
EG4 not communicating with battery
EG4 app IOS version loads but isn’t communicating with the battery. Bluetooth on. It “sees” two other BMSs in the area but not the EG4-LL or Lifepower 4 batteries.
