EggSpend has a new look and a lot of new muscle. WHAT'S NEW • Redesigned from the ground up — five focused tabs (Home, Transactions, Budget, Nest Egg, Metrics), a faster Quick Add, and one consistent ledger row throughout the app. • Guided first-run setup — new installs now walk you through adding your first account and, optionally, importing history or setting a budget. Skip it anytime. • Face ID / Touch ID app lock — an optional privacy gate in Settings that locks the app when it's backgrounded. • Auto-categorization gets smarter — categorizing a transaction now teaches EggSpend that merchant, and it applies automatically to future transactions and CSV imports. • "What changed this month?" — Home now surfaces the categories that moved most versus your recent average, with an optional on-device AI–enriched summary on supported devices. • Savings goals can now be funded from a transfer — tag any transfer as a contribution to a manually-tracked goal and its progress updates immediately. • Subscriptions audit — detected recurring charges now show price changes at a glance and convert to tracked recurring transactions in one tap. • Big performance and accessibility pass — large transaction lists scroll noticeably faster, date headers now follow your device's language, and VoiceOver/Dynamic Type support was extended across charts, budgets, and the redesigned tabs. • Sync gets more resilient — EggSpend now automatically detects and cleans up duplicate recurring transactions that can appear when multiple devices sync at once. FIXES AND POLISH • Fixed several chart issues: tooltip text disappearing during selection, mismatched trajectory line colors on Budget detail, and callouts on Nest Egg and Metrics clipping near the edges of the chart. • Budget detail's "Projected" and "Days Left" tiles now show their labels correctly. • The savings goal progress bar no longer pokes out past its card's rounded corners. • Tapping an account in Nest Egg now opens its transaction history; editing moved to a swipe action for both assets and liabilities. • Quick Add's keypad now fills digits from the right, like a cash register, and no longer clips on smaller screens. • Settings was reorganized into clearer sections. • Monthly Review now shows a proper empty state for months with no activity and animates its numbers when you switch months.
