What's New in Eider

1.9.0

September 24, 2026

You can now add an expense in another currency. Turn on "Expenses in other currencies" in your nest's Currency settings, then pick the currency beside the amount when you add an expense. Eider converts the amount to your nest's currency once, at the rate for the expense's date, and keeps that rate with the expense. The expense shows the original amount and the rate beside it. Balances and settling up stay in your nest's currency, and a settled period keeps the rates its expenses were added at. Turning the setting off later doesn't change anything you already added. Also in this release: - Changing the total of an expense in a foreign currency drops its old conversion, so it no longer shows a rate the new total contradicts. - Changing only an expense's amount keeps the odd cent with the person who paid, instead of moving it to whoever made the edit. - A notification about a period in a nest of three or more opens that period's breakdown instead of an error. - Tapping a notification from another nest opens its page fully loaded instead of filling it in piece by piece. - Nudging again before 24 hours have passed tells you it's too soon, instead of saying the nudge didn't go through.
