eincard - Study Before Scroll
App Blocker, Doomscroll killer

About
Less scrolling. More remembering.
eincard turns the moment you open a distracting
app into a chance to study. Each time you open a
selected app, review a few flashcards. Then
continue intentionally, or decide you no longer
need to scroll.
Unlike a rigid app blocker, eincard does not
lock you out. It adds useful friction. Screen
time becomes active recall, and the habit of
checking your phone becomes a cue to learn.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Create or import a flashcard deck.
2. Choose the distracting apps you want to gate.
3. Follow the guided setup for an Apple
Shortcuts automation.
4. Review cards whenever you open a selected
app.
5. Continue after studying or return to what
matters.
STUDY SMARTER
• Remember more with spaced repetition.
• Swipe cards into known and still learning
piles.
• Reverse cards to practice both directions.
• Set daily study limits for each deck.
• Star important cards and organize decks into
folders.
• Track reviews, streaks and progress over time.
BUILD BETTER PHONE HABITS
• Add a study gate before social media and other
distracting apps.
• Choose how many cards each app asks you to
review.
• Set an active schedule for school, homework or
exam sessions.
• Use a short launch pass so intentional app
switching stays smooth.
• Pause every gate when you need a break.

What's New in eincard
1.1.1
August 11, 2026
eincard is faster everywhere — cards leave the moment you let go, and nothing stutters while you swipe. Home is a clean readout now: your numbers, your gates, and, while setup is unfinished, one row that walks you through it. Also new: a written Shortcuts guide alongside the video guide, a gate-off switch that turns itself back on, and a “no pausing” mode that means it.
