Went to the store in Oxford Circus only to be told they wonât accept the app at all. Whats the point in having it? A total con.

Like a lot of people I saw in the App Store that you get a free coffee upon downloading and signing up within the EL&N app. Being in London today with my Mum I tried it. Itâs true - generously you get given ÂŁ5 of points to spend instantly on anything you want, providing you order directly from within the app under âOrder to your tableâ option which then allows you to redeem the points. The first issue was approaching a EL&N in London, went in to be told by a nice manager that its table system wasnât working & weâd have to use another EL&N to use the points, which was fair enough. Went to the next EL&N, with my mum and was told by the woman showing us in that the app wouldnât work to allow us a drink in store via the points, only a takeaway. After I kept telling her it should work based on the instructions within the app Iâd seen, she told me âYou are welcome to try & see if you can order to the table.â Both me & my mum were able to do this, without issue. We both thought that surely a manager would know this and should have been more welcoming of us as customers and the offer. It gave me the feeling they didnât want people using the cafe to redeem the offer, despite the fact I told the manager Iâd like to use EL&N in future. While glossy from the outside, we both didnât like the atmosphere which wasnât as warm compared to another coffee shop that day. Despite the generous points, I wouldnât recommend or go back regularly.

People do not download this app, it will say you will get ÂŁ5 off your first order, but when you get to order it does not send you a verification code, worstttt experience ever!!!!!!

Useless app where it doesnât recognise the QR code at your table so you canât order via the app. No point to it whatsoever
Doesnât function
The appâs purpose is to scan the QR code at your table to order, but it could not read the QR when my regular camera could.

I usually sit in because I like the ambience and El&Nâs opening hours work well for me, but I was heading to work and noticed they offered Click&Collect on the app. They offered the majority of the menu which was great! Easy to use and I was able to use Apple Pay which was a bonus. put my order through, and selected a time to pick it up. I arrived slightly earlier but my order was ready moments later, which I was pleasantly surprised at!! Didnât have to wait long at all. Warm and friendly team as well
And of course, the coffee tasted great!! Will be retuning and making use of this when Iâm on a time crunch. Canât fault it at all. Thank you El&N đđ

Glitchy app, QR code scanner fails each time. Utterly useless and pointless app.

No aplican los descuentos que ofrecen , dicen que es un error ocasional, pero nunca funcionan y ni siquiera te lo hacen directamente. Te cobran todo sin el descuento. Para eso que no lo ofrezcan como reclamo, me siento engaĂąado

I registered but couldnât login. I reset my password but still couldnât login. Rubbish!
Do not use the app
No free coffee and I was charged for my order twice. Still havenât received a refund almost a month later so Iâve had to get my bank involved now. The app is very buggy and barely works, needs better testing before release.

No waiter service yet they add service charge of 10%. Why do you need my home address, DOB. Walked out!
