Elec-Mate: Electrician App

Two weeks of work from a working UK electrician, and the most complete update we've shipped. Draw the job, certify it, get paid in full, and pass the exam. All in one app. DRAW IT, THEN CERTIFY IT Draw the job in the Room Planner and start the EIC straight from the drawing. Every board and circuit carries into the schedule of test results, numbered exactly as on the plan, with max Zs already filled from the tables. Test it, and your readings appear back on the drawing, judged against the certificate. The customer gets a plan that shows what was tested and what passed. Got the architect's PDF? Upload it and every room comes back ready to work on, with a room schedule, single-line diagram and circuit design to go with it. CERTIFICATES YOU CAN STAND BEHIND Every certificate now keeps its full history. See any earlier version and restore it in a tap. Open the same cert on your phone and your laptop and you choose which version wins, so nothing is ever overwritten. The Minor Works certificate is rebuilt from the ground up: a tight three-page PDF that won't let you sign off a failing insulation reading. EICs and EICRs can carry a QR code that lets your customer check your Elec-ID credentials on the spot. Fire alarm certificates now carry full statements of conformity. PART P, SORTED The notification tracker now follows the certificate. A job only appears when the work is notifiable, it updates as the cert changes, and anything waiting on an answer is flagged, never marked overdue. Send the customer their notice from the same screen. LANDLORD WORK THAT PAYS EVERY YEAR The landlord annual visit gains a full alarm register: every smoke, heat and CO alarm with type, location and expiry. Next year's visit already knows what's due. GET PAID IN FULL - Raise a credit note against any invoice, properly numbered. - A deposit already paid is credited when the quote becomes an invoice, so the balance is right in the app, on the pay link and on the PDF. - Bill a job and the invoice fills itself in from the accepted quote. - Save and send a quote in one step. - Give the customer a materials list without your prices on it. - Your terms show right where the customer accepts. - Jobs put the biggest money at risk at the top, and every unpaid invoice has a one-tap chase. YOUR WEEK AT A GLANCE The calendar's week view on your phone is now a clean seven-day list, every job in order, nothing squashed. ELEC-AI KNOWS MORE It now answers Building Regulations questions alongside BS 7671, and works calculation questions through in full, step by step. STUDY CENTRE: PASS IT FIRST TIME - Welsh Level 3: the complete course, 202 lessons across eight modules, and a 400-question final paper. - AM2 practice that writes new questions every time you sit it, so you learn the method, not the answers. - On-Site Guide table-lookup mock: 30 questions in 45 minutes, books open, just like the exam. - New flashcard decks for cable numbers, max Zs and test limits, and earthing and bonding, plus one Due Today queue across every deck so nothing slips. - The Fire Alarm Systems course is checked line by line against BS 5839-1:2025. A FRESH LOOK A new splash screen, a cleaner and quicker sign-in and sign-up, and a proper screen when you've got no signal on site. YOUR DATA, YOUR CALL Download everything you hold in Elec-Mate in one go: spreadsheets you can open in Excel, plus links to your photos and documents. You decide whether we can measure our adverts, and you can change your mind in Settings whenever you like. Every message, review and suggestion since 2.5 has gone into this. Keep them coming. I read every one.
